Hi everyone. I'm so disappointed in myself. I feel that my body just hates me and loves being fat. I KNOW I'm not getting the proper amount of protein. And I can't seem to shed any more weight. I've been at a dead standstill for weeks now. I'm discouraged. I thought I would be much thinner by now. SW: 254 CW: 219 GW: 165

Had GVS on 4/10. Can I use chia seeds? I know they swell. Don't want to mess myself up. How much would you recommend?

I'm so glad you posted this! I am 2 months out and down 32 lbs and tons of inches. I've been feeling down the past few days because I'm stuck here. Haven't lost an ounce in 10 days. I'm consuming a minimum of 800 calories a day and a max of 1,000 calories. But I seriously SERIOUSLY struggle with protein. Any tips??

How many calories should I be consuming at 6 weeks out? Can someone break that down into carbs, fats, and Protein for me as well? I cannot find my handbook.

I know we can't eat red meat for 3 months, but what about ground beef?

Can y'all recommend a decent protein shot??? In struggling to get enough protein. The shakes are disgusting and thick. Can't handle them.

Yesterday made 2 weeks since surgery. I'm down 17 lbs but the scale hasn't moved in a couple days. Is this normal?

Had my surgery Thursday. My stomach is kinda odd looking. It's swollen above one of my incisions and then dented in beneath it. Is that normal? I'm sore and feel bloated. I'm assuming that's normal as well. Just looking for some support from folks that have been through this. Thanks!

Hi! I had the gastric sleeve and a hiatal hernia repair done on April 10th. I feel like I'm having spasms in my esophagus. They are painful. Is that normal? The pain goes up into my throat.

I'm on day 5 of liquids/post op. I can't imagine 9 more days of this. I seriously need to chew something. I'm not really hungry just head hungry I guess. Everything smells delicious. I'm extremely full feeling but I KNOW I'm not getting in all the liquid I need. Also. I haven't pooped yet. Any advice? -

I'm 4 days post op also. Also had a hernia repair. Good to know you're still having pain. Kinda feels like a lump in my throat/neck. Idk. It's weird and difficult to describe. I think the hernia repair has been harder to recover from than the sleeve.
