Yes, I am so excited. I am trying not to pay attention to the days but I keep counting down! I feel like I am going on vacation or something! I am just dreading that nasty sprite tasting drink though! I hope you do well in your surgery in a few days. Please let me know how everything went! -

Congrats everyone on this journey. My doctor told me he didn't want to make me suffer with the 2 week liquids diet. I just have to make sure I am not bigger than my starting weight!! Hopefully the pain is equivalent to my gallbladder surgery 10 years ago... -

My bariatric coordinator sent my paper work off last Friday afternoon and she called me today with the good news! I didn't think it would be this quick!! I did a bunch of worrying for nothin! I put my faith in God and im letting him handle the rest!! Im hoping to schedule tomorrow for June 16th!

Hello...with the whole 6 month requirement before your approval, does it still have to be consecutive visits to your doctor? -
Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO of Georgia/Gastric Sleeve

Hello. I am new to all of this and I just did my seminar and want to start the process in having surgery. I have read that BCBS of Georgia PPO doesn't approve the sleeve surgery. Has anyone with the this insurance plan had a problem with getting approved for the sleeve? My bmi is over 40 btw.
