My birthday is in 2 weeks. ..i will be 6 weeks post op at that time. Do you think I could have a drink or two????

Thank you all for the responses. Kind of made me feel like an alcoholic. Lol. Sooooo I just want to clear that up. I am not nor have I ever been a heavy drinker. I wouldn't even call myself a frequent drinker. I might drink twice a year...my birthday and sometimes new years. I will not be partaking in any birthday outings this year. Thanks again.

I'm in my 4th post op week. I have one incision on my left side that ts still not healed shut like the rest...is that normal??? I really want to get back to drinking my fresh squeezed lemon juice & honey. ..is it too soon for something so acidic??

I was back at it 3 weeks post op. Just take it easy...If you have pain stop and try something different. I think it's safe to say it will take some time before we're up to anything "wrestle mania" like!!

Okay ladies...I've been on birth control for 16 years. For the last 10 years it's been Mirena (IUD). With this birth control I don't have periods....until today. It's heavy and very dark. I'm a little freaked out. Would any of you be freaking out? Should I call my OBGYN? Should I just let it be? Issue #2...haven't had a BM in 8 days. Took some benefiber today. How long should I wait to call the doc? Sorry...on a more positive note I'm down 13 lbs from when I went in for surgery.

I knew the estrogen might go crazy...i guess I haven't had a period in so long I didn't even think about it. I can't wait to be 100% again. I do great the first half of the day and then I'm pretty sore in the evening. I'm ready to get into the gym!!!

I have anthem BCBS as well. The nutritional classes qualified as my medically supervised "failed" diet

I'm new to this app. I had my surgery April 7th. I have to walk around holding a pillow to the left side of my belly. I get winded really easy still and if I've been standing too long I get a burning feeling really low on my left side. DR said it's nerves and most complain of the left side pain. Said that's where they do most of the work. My instructions were to start cream soups day 3. I was told any soup is fine as long as it's blended to a creamy substance.
