I found this website because I Googled "how long until I can drink alcohol after gastric sleeve surgery". Ever since April 2nd, when I found out I was approved with my insurance, I have been googling everything, When can I have a baby after the sleeve? What happens if I cheat on my pre-op diet? Does water really shrink the liver? And with my birthday on the 17th (the day after my surgery) I was curious, when can you drink alcohol?

I was supposed to have the surgery in December, but I went over the 30-day appointment so I had to start all the appointments over again.

I hope to be healthier and happier and as vain as it may sound, I want to be able to fit in my clothes better. Being heavy has always made me feel matronly and restricted in my clothing, I want to wear the pencil skirt without it having to be a stretchy one, and the cute jeans with designs on the butt.. that aren't stretchy ones or have a "mature woman fit".. I don't want to dress like a tramp, just more age appropriate.

Always open to making friends, especially ones near Houston since that's where I am :)
