I agree there is always healthier choices... We went to Braum's a while back, they were having their grill green chili chicken sandwich. I ordered it, without a bun (caused some confusion, but they got the point). Grilled chicken, a slice of cheese and topped with green chili, and I could only eat about 1/2 of it... It was a delicious meal, and I snuck an onion ring in as well. -
It's been a whole year now, where did the time go?!?

@@BigViffer Great article thanks for sharing.

Are you drinking enough? are you taking blood pressure medication? Do you have access to a blood pressure reader? You might want to discuss with PCP or surgeon... Good luck on your journey
-
@@BigViffer good advice on the Vitamins, I nearly forgot about that.... and yes more Protein can be hard on your kidneys. Since we don't know what your pre-existing health issues might have been, besides being over weight I would add, please check with your PCP/Surgeon.
-
I would add another Protein drink in, if you can... my goal was to get in about 100 grams/day
-
Are you getting enough protein in? How is your weight?
-
Sounds like you are not drinking enough. Even 2-3 months post op I was struggling to get my water in
-
LOL... Yeah... I am still wondering what a football bat actually would look like and what would you use it for?
-
@@taxudown looking good. Keep up the great work

I noticed after loosing about 60 pounds not only did my libido come back, but I and y partner noticed my 'little' friend not being very little any longer, and yes, the ability to act on those desires is more profound and satisfying to each of us. Good luck on your journey! I'd say, keep your chin up, but well that seems to happen spontaneous already! -
Has anyone here had issues with Kidney Stones or Gallstones post surgery
defibvt replied to BigTink2LilTink's topic in The Guys’ Room
http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/kidney-stones/basics/risk-factors/CON-20024829 Dehydration. Not drinking enough Water each day can increase your risk of kidney stones. People who live in warm climates and those who sweat a lot may be at higher risk than others. Certain diets. Eating a diet that's high in Protein, sodium and sugar may increase your risk of some types of kidney stones. This is especially true with a high-sodium diet. Too much sodium in your diet increases the amount of Calcium your kidneys must filter and significantly increases your risk of kidney stones. Being obese. High body mass index (BMI), large waist size and weight gain have been linked to an increased risk of kidney stones. Digestive diseases and surgery. Gastric bypass surgery, inflammatory bowel disease or chronic diarrhea can cause changes in the digestive process that affect your absorption of calcium and water, increasing the levels of stone-forming substances in your urine. -

One of the risk factors for developing gallstones is rapid weight loss. -
