I was sleeved 5/30 and on 6/21 they removed my gallbladder. I went to my doctor on 6/17 bc I was dehydrated, constant nausea and dry heaving, he admitted me into hospital... After many X-rays, blood work, ultrasound - I had pancretits and sludge in my gallbladder so they removed my gallbladder. I lost ten pounds while I was in the hospital and I continue to lose even though I'm not exercising.

My surgeon and the his team of specialist had no idea what was wrong with me either. They found the sludge (which turns into gallstones) during the abdominal ultrasound. They also did some big X-ray of my gallbladder not sure of the name but i had to lay on this table for an hour it seemed. Let's just say I went thru hell for ten days hopefully they find your issue quickly. Mention Ativan it really helps. Good luck!

Week and half after being sleeved on 5/30 I experienced nausea and dry heaving and ended up in the hospital for ten days! Pancreatitis was the first diagnosis and I Had to have my gallbladder removed the fourth day bc of the sludge they found which is caused from rapid weight loss... Removing gallbladder didn't take away the constant nausea and dry heaving after a scope down my throat and biopsy and many tests and X-rays one of the specialist recommended Ativan before bed time... Haven't had the constant nausea or dry heaving since I started it!!! I got out of the hospital on 6/27 and haven't been released to return back to work yet. But each day I'm getting better. Last week was really rough though

You need to contact your surgeon and explain what's going on. Are you able to keep anything down?

Have to correct my weight.. My hubby informed me that you can't weigh on carpet LOL. Totally off!!! I'm down to 253 from 262 day of surgery. NSV - wearing my husbands T-shirts and there baggy :-) Thanks for the add lylabelle

Please add me ☺️ I'm Jen from Florida I did six months with my NUT and was sleeved on 5/30 released on 6/1. On the clear liquids diet until 6/13, was able to start protein shakes 6/3. My post op appt is 6/12 with surgeon. I'm having trouble getting enough fluids in I have a constant full feeling ???? I've tried sleeping on my side with pillow and it's all good until I wake up with belly pain. Overall I feel good and am looking forward to this new life I've been given ???? Woohoo! You're almost here! I will be sleeved on the 30th as well!! ???? started my two week preop diet the 16th, can't wait for Friday!! Good luck!!! Praying for a speedy recovery for all.
