Hi Crystalstar congratulations on your weight loss and best wishes for continued success. I have just recently started to research lap band surgery and am a Kaiser Permanente member in California they are now telling me they don't cover lap band surgery and I was wondering if you were able to get Kaiser to finally cover your surgery. Where is everyone? I had to upgrade my lap top and I have not loaded all my lap-band addresses in it yet. So I thought I would come here to post a meeting date. I'm in Cheltenham Maryland and it doesn't take me long to get to Annapolis. Our Maryland Lap Band Support Group use to meet at the Borders Book Store. We now meet in the Bowie area or sometimes we travel to members homes in the area. -

Hello all, I'm so happy to have the band now. The pain is not so bad. I had a harder time with my c-section then with this. I'm home now laying in my bed with lots of pillows. I'm taking Tylenol 3 for the little pain I do have. My shoulder hurts more then my tummy. I will return to work tomorrow night on light duties. I want to thank you all for supporting me .
