Well my path towards gaining weight started with my first child 18 years ago. I've fought it since then. I've lost and gained a thousand times. My most recent attempt at weight loss was SouthBeach. I lost 60 lbs and gained it all back. That's when my doctor told me something had to change before I ended up like my dad. He died at 41 of a massive heart attack! At 15 years of age I didn't realize how young that was. Dad was not overweight but had high blood pressure and cholesterol. Genetics. I have all of that and more plus the weight! So April 8th I went to my first weight loss seminar. I was insulted my doc thought I qualified. I was in such denial I though I'd walk in and be told I didn't belong there. Boy was I wrong, wrong, wrong!! So here we go I'm scheduled for surgery on Tuesday, June 3rd!
