Pik I'm so glad that they found the problem. have they scheduled you for the endo yet? Rosetta
-
I am glad that they have a plan, Plz hang in there and keep us posted.
-
Pik, pls keep me informed  gentle hugs
-
Oh No Pik, you must have at least 40 to 60oz of water a day to keep your kidney from failing is your urine dark and are you urinating less. You need at least 60gm of baractic protein to keep you from starving, your hair will fall out and you will have kidney and liver and heart problems. Are you taking bariactric Vitamins? it's a must you have to take them daily. Does your dr. know this please contact them you might have to be hospitalized to hydrate you. and give you some nurishment.
-
I know the stuck feeling, My Bariactric doctor recommended for me to see my gastroenterologist and she looking at my surgery records to determine what test I might need done. Are you getting enough Protein and Water it's a must It takes me 16hrs sometime to get in but you have to or you will be malnurish. I hope things get better for you
-
But you are losing it faster so thats a good thing. I hope it doesn't last as long as mine with no end in sight. I am only eating 900cal. a day including Protein if I try to eat anything other than fruit it really flares up. and if I eat or drink more than 4ozs I will almost vomit.

I was 59 I turned 60 in June, I never gave it a thought but I had to have the surgery because I was developing type 2 diabetes and my thyroid was causing the weight gain and even though it was controlled with meds I have gained 80lbs in 2 years but last December I was gaining 5lb a month. My weight lost has been slow I have only loss 28lbs. but I feel a lot better and my blood sugar is normal. I am not noticing and wrinkles or sagging skin. I think the slow weight loss also aids with stopping sagging and wrinkling -
Thank you MarathonGirl

Abdominal Binder & Band to Gastric Bypass
Rosetta2014 replied to weightlossdiva1234's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I had a gastric bypass I spent 4 days in the hospital and I had a 4 hour exploratory lap the morning after because I had a small bleeder. My husband had to go back to work the day after I got home, he is a Trucker Driver and he could only get 7 days off. So I was alone for 18 days before he returned. We made sure I had everything I needed before he left. It was hard but I made it my surgery was on April 9th 2014. I have a body binder but it is too uncomfortable for now I give it another month and it should be fine. -

I too am 6 weeks out and nauseated most of the time. I saw my nutritionist today. She fears I'm not eating enough. I'm also having "gut" issues with a decent amount of diarrhea. She thinks that from a lack of fiber. She suggest I move my multivitamin and take it 45 minutes after eating. I had been taking them in the morning which might start my day off feeling so bad. She also wants me eating 2 oz of protein and 2 oz of fruit/veggie with every meal. Even if it takes me more than 25 minutes, she would like me to try to get it in. I have also been using saltines which seem to help some. I usually eat one about 30 minutes after my meal or when the nausea is unbearable. She told me this was fine and to continue doing this if it helps. Thanks Amy
