    Dating

Thank you for your feedback ladies! I have tried internet before and have met some nice guys which i wasn't attracted to and then of course the players too. I started my journey just wanting to focus on myself and getting healthier. So far I'm just chatting and haven't set any dates up. I was debating deleting the account to just focus on myself.

    Phentermine

I took it for a short period but I got headaches, heart palpitations and blurry vision from it. Even on the low dose of 15 mg. It helped me lose 25 lbs but after I stopped it due to the side-effects I put it back on and more. I also had some insomnia and was only sleeping about 4 hours a night so that wasn't healthy ether.

    New, Nervous, and Anxious

I must have gotten lucky with the calcium flavor I chose. I have Bavarian cream from the nature's blend company, my multivitamin on the other hand I chose wrong, tastes horrible lol which one do you use?
  9. I was going to take only two but changed to three weeks since my company will allow it, it's a huge life change after surgery and so you may physically feel ok to go back after two weeks but it you can take more off to help yourself mentally with the changes do it
  10. I have picked up some baby spoons and small containers at my local dollar store the containers come in a 6 pack and they have an option for spoons as well as forks

She told me it was for the liver shrinking too I hear ya! The Vitamins are crazy! I bought a pill box with AM and PM slots and filled it up with vitamins to take. When I went looking for the recommended vitamins, I found chewable options to get a little more comfortable with it for after surgery but the amount of them are crazy!!! Its hard to take them now, before surgery! lol

She explained that there were much better options out there and had some options to go over closer to the surgery date, but mentioned low-carb slim-fast and Atkins shakes that are available at the supermarket. She said the taste is better, lest costly and they do the same thing the Bariatric Advantage does. Which shake you choose determines how many per day you can have.

    Hey Yall

I must be very lucky! I too am a nurse but the few co-workers I have discussed surgery with have been very supportive, no negative comments so far but prepared if they come

    PCOS and WLS

Awesome! Hoping it lowers back to normal I would be so happy if it went down to around 12-13 so I can be able to have a family in the future
  15. Hello Ladies! I am curious if anyone out there has PCOS and a high insulin resistance level. Anyone have any luck with decreasing the free insulin post-surgery?

    New, Nervous, and Anxious

I have had to get an EGD before but it was covered under my insurance so unfortunately I don't have much info about how much the insurance side of it would cover. I would call your insurance and see about how much you have left to meet your deductible and see about a payment plan. Hope that can help a little. I too am a little worried about the pre-op diet. I met with the nutritionist and she gave me some great options that you can buy at your local supermarket instead of the Bariatric Advantage (which I hear is not so yummy) She told me whichever one I chose would lead to how many a day I could have. Maybe they have something like that?
