I had surgery on June 5th and haven't had a good bowel movement. Taking senekot and miralax with a suppository every now and then. I'm so bloated from this. Everything else has gone great. No puking out walking getting my water protein shakes and pudding in. Wasn't big on cream of wheat. Does anyone have any suggestions to help get me moving?

TOMORROW IS THE DAY!!! My nerves are going crazy!!! Im #1 for surgeries tomorrow so I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 a.m.

Im about 70 pounds overweight also with out of control diabetes and I get so freaking sick of hearing everyday, "you're not big enough" "you have lost 20 pounds just keep doing what u are doing" What people dont understand is that it never lasts it always comes back twice as much and the diabetes is still there. This tool will keep me on track so I will never go back.

My doctor told me I didnt need to but I think I will starting Monday as I have gained about 5 pounds since I went to the doctors last. I am so excited! I started this process in September of last yr. I planned on working right up til the day before, but now I am thinking getting my nails done and a pedicure sounds much better and may take the afternoon off so I can do that and be home with my hubby and kids that evening and spend it with them If you have facebook you can add me stacy huff bobian

I do!!!! I know I will get rid of my diabetes and that is great, but YES!!!! I was to have a fabulous body and I want to look beautiful and being fat I will never be that way!

Try unsweetened almond milk. I love it in protein shakes. It also makes them a tad less sweet.

Congrats on the not smoking!!! That is fabulous and will make a huge difference in your health I had a really high A1C and have 2 1/2 weeks to get it down alittle and I have gained about 4 pounds. I guess the high blood sugars were burning through the calories lol. So ready for this surgery and to kiss the diabetes good bye!!

I kinda wish they would just take my gall bladder at the same time. I have read that so many people have problems with it after surgery and why go through another surgery if it can be done while already open.

@@stacy97006 I'm in Portland, who is doing your surgery? mine is Dr Emma Patterson. so nice to see someone so close!! Dr. Spight at ohsu is doing mine on June 5th. Met with him yesterday and kinda scared me as I have lost 27 pounds and if my insurance didnt use my beginning weight I would not have been able to have surgery So frustrating as I think any weight you can lose before is better for you. My bmi was 37 with diabetes when I started in September and now its 34.4. I have been yo yo dieting for 20 yrs and the weight never stays off and that is why I am having the surgery.

Thats awesome We are neighbors! The 6 month diet was a breeze and went by faster than I thought it would. My surgery is scheduled for June 5th. 45 more days!! It cant come fast enough.

I tried the grape. Ewwww Gross!!! The smell was so bad and the taste was worse. I mixed it with some grape propel water.

Thank you so very much for this post. After going through the seminar and my 6 month diet and scheduling my surgery for June, my husband basically let me know that he does not support me having the surgery. I have been very overweight since I had our first child 7 months into our marriage. That child is now 18. I have yo yo dieted for years and they weight always comes back. At my largest I was 275, and at the beginning of my surgery Quest I was 222. I am currently 201 and scheduled for surgery on June 10th. 201 doesn't sound huge but have type 2 diabetes and taking 2 insulin's is a huge health factor for me. I want to be healthy and I want to feel beautiful and have energy and Im very sad that he does not support that.

Congrats!!! I am scheduled for June 10th and I am so eager for the time to come. Everyone says the time will go fast but it seems like its standing still for me.
