Who is your Dr? They said that because my BMI isn't over 40 I don't have to do a pre-op diet. I'm so nervous about the post-op diet though! I'm going to be HANGRY!

Hi everyone! I'm new to the forum, and I'm having Gastric sleeve surgery on May 27th with Dr. Aceves! I am so excited, but I'm getting really nervous about the post-op diet. My mom had the same surgery and she said she was starving! A whole month of living on liquids is going to be hard!! Lol! Is anyone else having their surgery on the 27th?

Hi everyone! I am 18 and I'm 220 lbs. I am having my surgery on May 27th with Dr. Aceves, and unfortunately I have to go alone! My mom has had the same surgery by Dr. Aceves and said that she met up with a couple people that she had been following on the forum, and it made things a little less scary! They even had their "last meal" together! LOL! I would love to meet some of you guys there so I have someone to talk to! Let me know!

My mom has had the same surgery done by Dr. Aceves, and she has really dark scars from where she had the surgery. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to prevent them or get rid of them? My dream is to feel sexy in a bikini for the first time and I would hate to feel self consious over scars, that I can't get rid of. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!
