That sounds good too. Thank you

I usually throw chicken legs & thighs into a pressure cooker with some chopped red onions, tomatoes, carrots and beans - spice it up with whatever suits you or whatever you prefer. End result is soft food which goes down easily during the first few weeks post surgery. The max you can consume is about 1 handful in a bowl. I was eating out at restaurants just after a month post sleeving - you just have to be very choosy about what you easy when out - that's it! Ok that sounds good thank you.

3 months out I'm sure you can consume solid protein by now? Start with soft boiled chicken or fish and then slowly move on to other styles (grilling, etc). Eat what you like - don't go the beef way yet tho! Give that some more time... You should be gettin some protein from whole foods as they said. I have a really hard time with meat unless it's slow cooked in a crock pot and shredded. I made an awesome protein packed turkey chili last night that I'll prob eat off for several days. It sits really well with me. CAN YOU GIVE ME THE RECIPTE

I had to have a dilation done it helped me so much. Before I had it I was unable to keep solid foods down and drinking was hard for me. After the dilation it was so much better. I am able to keep foods down as long as I take my time eating and chew very well. I have realized that I cant tolerate bread all it does is come right back up. But the Dilation works. Good luck with everything.

I have a had a big problem with family understanding what is going on. I recently went on a family trip to visit my brother and niece in Florida and of course I am limited on what I can eat. My aunt who was at the hospital with me the day of my surgery And my surgeon told her and my mom what was happening and everything. This hole trip she was continuously asking me did I eat what can I eat what you gonna eat why you not eating that is all you gonna eat? It became very annoying by the 3rd day and I started to get very frustrated. Every time she asked I explained to her again and again no I cant eat that I am fine no that is fried cant have that don't worry I am good. I just feel like this is why I didnt tell every one about my sleeve cause I just hate explaining myself and why I eat or maybe dont eat the way I do. Does anyone else have this problem and if so how do you deal with this? Cause it is really starting to get to me.

Yes i am having the same issue. I had mac and cheese for the first time this weekend since surgery which use to be my fav food and it did not taste as good as it use to. It made me so sad. But it stayed down which I am happy about. I am only 7 weeks out though so maybe it will get better. I hope so.

I was wearing a size 20/22 before my sleeve on 3/28/2014.Now in pants I can fit into my size 18s and some of my 16s, and in shirts I can fit into size 14/16. I have not brought anything new yet I am waiting till I have absolutely nothing in my size to do that. But I am very excited for when I am ready to do that. My best friend is a personal stylist and is so ready to take me shopping. Shopping use to be the worst thing in the world for me but I am very excited to start shopping when time comes.

I am afraid to try slimming teas because of the senna. Senna usually causes griping and I dont want to deal with that. I am afraid that griping will be too painful.

I take Fiber Gummies & use Benefiber in my Protein shakes a couple times a week. Really helps me out! I was drinking benefiber twice a day for 2 weeks with plum smart and nothing. I was told not to take gummies at all so i just stay away from them. but i will continu the benefiber and maybe it will start to work. idk

I just saw that GNC has a easy swallow women ultra mega It is not too expensive. The 120 capsule one is 18.99 without the GNC card. I am gonna try that one. Cause I am so over the chewable ones. Hope this helps. .

So idk if this is too much info but I am having a hard time with making #2. The only time I am able to go is when i drink Miralax. I am 6 weeks out and have not gone in like a week. Any one know what I can do to help get things moving. My dietitian said to increase my Fluid intake which i have done but still nothing.
-
Well I had an issue with energy too. My dietitian had me taking my B12 daily until my energy we up. It has really helped. I take the 1000mcg sublingual. Hope that helps.

So i had to have an upper Gi endoscopy on Friday because I was having issues keeping solid food down. I am 5 weeks out and kept getting very nauseous and vomiting half of what I would eat up. In the endo the my doc had to dilate my sleeve. He said it was a little too tight and not allowing solid food to pass smoothly no matter how much I chewed it up. I am relieved that I am able to eat a little better. I am down 41lb from my highest weight and down 2 dress sizes so I am happy.
-
Keep us posted, and I hope they find what's going on and is nothing complicated to fix!

Yes it deff will help. My surgeon said excersie will help ur body to burn fat and help you to tone the skin that was stretched. He did say that it all depends on your starting weight and age though too. So hopefully it helps u in the best way. Good luck.
