    NEBRASKA!

Dr Forse works out of Bryan West- he claims he is the new Old guy- he's taught bariatrics at Stanford , wrote tons of journals on it that has been published- I had actually been thinking of going to Dr Seip in North Platte- great program there- then I heard about Dr Forse-- I just figured I'd be more successful having a local Dr-- their total staff has been outstanding- He has support groups on the 2nd Tuesday each month at Lifepoint .
  2. Do you think you need a different kind of anti acid med?? Good job in the weightloss!

    NEBRASKA!

I am going with Dr Forse- I work in the medical profession and there are too many people that I sort of know in Dr Hungs office - I just didn't feel like I would be comfortable - How long will you be off work? I will be off 6 weeks !! That's kinda my choice, but I run a office and am on the go with not much breaks- I wanted to be comfortable and know what foods I tolerate for quick breaks and so forth-

    UHC

I have been looking into this for about 1.5 years- reading, figuring out which Doctor I was comfortable with- so now I'm just Ready!! I think most people are the same. I read posts on here daily- then I think about different holidays and wonder what size I will be then. We went with friends to the Casinos on Sat. night-buffet dinner- it kinda grossed me out- then I kept thinking- thus us my last buffet I will be a part of- cause what a bunch of food and I won't even come close to eating that much- I have been mindful of menus and thinking- sleeve options would be... Just ready!!

    Seeking Buddies 5'2" & Under

Same with short term disability or FMLA - policy is to be there a year-but last job it wasn't covered and I was planning to pay out of pocket-so this is worth it- I have been to my Primary, attended group, sleep study is scheduled in a week- so when the date rolls around it cans be approved right away.

Things I want for my life

Fearless is powerful- I have a beautiful friend that became a yoga instructor, has invited me several times to her small classes- I would love to go, but my mind would be in over drive- how bad do I look, how would I get in that pose in a graceful way-I would not find it relaxing at all- Down the road - it excites me to go-

Things I want for my life

Feel good in my clothes.. Feel good without my clothes;) More energy.. Be more active.. Fearless to try new things, yoga, Pilates, run a 1/2 marathon the year I turn 50 (2016). Cute boots that fit over my calves. Become that photogenic person I once was, instead of hiding and avoiding having my picture taken, cause I don't want to see how large I really am ... Surgery can't come soon enough, I am so looking to a improved better ME!!

    UHC

I live in Lincoln, NE. I have UHC choice- my hold up is that for FMLA time off or the procedure to be covered by insurance, my plan says I have to be employed a year. I am getting everything done by July 30, so at that date it can be approved. I have to meet my deductible anyway, so this way I can spread out some of those bills.

  18. Caffeine is a dehydrator - since you need liquids to keep you hydrated- caffeine doesn't help:(

Good for you!!! Where do you live, and where are you having surgery at?? How long did you have to wait to hear back from UHC??
  20. I have thin baby fine hair- I've never been able to grow out hair and do cute stuff with it other than tons of product. I'm very serious, when my hair starts falling out -- I'm going to get a couple of wigs!! The human hair ones at wigsbuy.com are great looking- pick a style- I went to a wig store- they let me try on and explained the different caps, how to care for them-then I started looking on line-just know that my hairs already thin and fine- I won't need to lose much to fill like I'm bald-

I am in the pre op faze- I just got a batch of labs done- I knew my lipids would be high, but I was shocked to see that my Vitamin D level was at 15! It said range 30-50. Just wondering what you think Doc will do, we are still waiting for one other lab that's not resulted yet. Also, being new to this site- I see on the app that I have notifications, but I can't find them in the feed- (?) iPhone is what I have.

Good to know! My one thing that is required is that I have to be at my job one year before it's allowed, but they said I can work on everything leading up to the one year. ( that date is July 30) -good news cause otherwise if it was the 6 month process that would put me at Sept. I've been looking into this for almost 18 months-
