Wendi, I'm glad you are cutting back on work and just going to take it easy- Your body is healing and can use the rest- women are so impatient- we need to be better yesterday. It will be so fun keeping in contact when you come in. I think the sipping and stuff will be an adjustment too!! Take care!!!

    NEBRASKA!

I flunked!! Which I was pretty sure I had apnea- I'm not a huge snorer but I guess at times I just gasp for breath - They have to type up the report- and send to a pulmonologist (sp) . I just was like ( woohoo one more reasons to get the sleeve). I was glad it took the next day off cause I felt like I hadn't slept at all ( even tho I had , it was just so weird).

Losing weight at an older age

Paul- I'm 48 and waiting for sleeve as well- I figure I will need to take those golden months very seriously. Follow the rules, exercise religiously and don't waiver- This is my chance to stop yo yo dieting- and succeed better than any of the many other things I've tried. I just need to believe that the work and focus that I put into the sleeve will work!!

    NEBRASKA!

I'm really thinking that I would have lots of other work this next year and reclaim my skinny- and run the half when I am 50. ( not next year, but the following year.)

    NEBRASKA!

Goals in writing-- 1) surgery approved for August. 2) work as hard to maximize sleeve and lose as much weight as I can in the " golden months" following surgery. 3.) get into running- 4.) I'm going to run the Lincoln 1/2 Marathon next year. I've done the Beginners Luck class before. Just feeling inspired tonight!
