I think it was listed June sleepers, someone keeps track and listed all the groups statistics- I'm not great at computer stuff like that, but it was neat to see their progress - In all reality - it will be here soon!! I've been working on this for 18 months- I'm ready !!

    Wanted: September Sleevers!

I'm a little nervous- my medical weight management appt is on Tuesday. I'm only about 10 pounds down from my appt in April- the reason is I've just started to modify diet and exercise- my bmi was 42.2, so I didn't want to go in full mode of watching everything and lose too much before they even submit to insurance. I feel like I'm doing very mindful eating, cut out pop ( huge coke fan, and I haven't had for about 5 weeks). I do so much better M-F, weekends are hard to stay on task- I think that I can have another 10 off before pre-op diet starts- It would be great to have 25 pounds off before surgery? What pre surgery goals are you Sept sleeves working towards?

    Constipated

My surgery isn't until Sept 8, but I've been having it and ratting high Protein, low carb- I'm ratting lots of fruits and veggies, so I was surprised- Guess my body is missing all the fast foods it used to have!! I figure that after surgery, my new normal won't be everyday because of less calories and food, Hang in there-)

Add a couple prunes to your blender with your smoothies- I just keep a bag in my freezer, throw in 2. ( you don't even taste them) Serving size says 5, not that brave, so I've just been adding the 2, and it's helped-

    NEBRASKA!

It's getting close!! How are you doing?
  16. My surgery will be sometime in August- getting close to pin pointing a date- I just have to demonstrate a wright loss- they told me that just as importantly as loosing, to get in a great walking pattern- I think to shoot for 10%, is what I was told- I've cut out pop, having some difficulties with giving up afternoon chocolate- lol Since I have spent the last 20 years as a professional dieter- lol I'm going to go back and start MRC ( metobolic research center) the reason is that I'd like to loose 20 pounds before surgery- It's the diet that I could follow and will have similar eating once on food after surgery- I just needed something to focus-and loose- I started last week- down 6 pounds- Mainly I'm getting in water, eating fresh foods and no preservatives-

    50 lbs down pre-op

    Great job!
  19. Just have a quick question- As most of you know, I have become a professional dieter- My Doctor would like me to lose about 20-25 pounds pre op- I just found out yesterday that I can have surgery mid August. This is my question- should I go to someplace like MRC, where I can lose pretty well and fast up to the 25-30 mark. It's then I can't lose from that point with their program- Since surgery really isn't that far away- do you think I should go back to MRC to get my 20-25 off?

    Weight loss before surgery

How long was your weigh management program , losing the 35?? That's a great jump to your surgery!!!
  21. It sounds like I will be scheduled in August- my Dr.'s office talked with insurance today- I am working on my list which is more of my Surgeons requirements, and not the insurance- The one big law that I'm waiting in is for both my leave time off and weightloss surgery can't happen before I'm employed with my job until I've been employed with them 1 year. I am 48, 5"3 and 226. I'm writing all my foods down and increasing my walking distance each week-
  22. Thanks for sharing your pictures!!!! Congrats!
