  1. Don't get discouraged. Make sure you are measuring once per week on a day you can sleep in. Measure after your first wake up pee you will be surprised at how the scale won't be of much concern anymore This really helped me get through the plateaus. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
  2. I ate some club crackers and humus and Cottage cheese as well. I also had a 2 week stall at the same time. Your body has to readjust to all the weight lost. Then all of a sudden it will be ready for another drop and the weight will fall of again. You will have stalls all throughout. Very normal. Keep positive a don't forget to measure once a week so the stalls don't discourage you as much

    Coffee

I drink one cup per day every morning with 2 splenda and a 1/2 cup 2% milk. Have not had any bad effects. Dr. just wants to make sure I'm not having any more drinks with calories in them. Which I am not.

    Soda After Sleeve?

I have had one soda a day for awhile now. I take tiny sips and always drink from a cup. It helps take some of the carbonation out. I have not had any problems and i have been loving my diet cream soda

    Coffee

I have one cup a day. Then, drink a bottle of water. After the water, I wait 15-30 min. and eat breakfast. After breakfast, I take my vitamins. (Chewables). I also take calcium after dinner as well. All has been good for me. No problems with the coffee. They say it is an appetite enhancer as well. Your Dr is probably just eliminating anything that is a risk for you right now. I don't have any problems with my one cup a morning.

    New here- sleeved March 18th

Whoop whoop! Made it one month. No complications. Just glad I'm past the first week lol. Started exercising. Stopped weighing today. Will now weigh every Sunday and my Dr said to start measuring so if a plateau hits you will still see progress just in a different way. Excited to see inches come off

    Soda After Sleeve?

My Dr said to mix it a bit and get it a bit flat prior to drinking. She never said I could not have it.

    My success at 1 month

Congrats beautiful lady! I am one month out today and feel great as well! I will be watching you as an inspiration. I have felt the same as you all the way. Feels great. I'm a bit scared of the 4 week plateau but I know that's when our weight is shifting just to prepare for more weight loss. So i think I'll get through it. Just love to see weight loss everyday Patients is a virtue lol.

    New here- sleeved March 18th

I was also sleeved on the 18th of March. I am doing great. The first week I regretted it because of the pain and the difficulty in getting in fluids. But all is great now. I am able to chew certain solid foods into pureed food in my mouth and it works great. Shrimp, sunflower seeds, hummus with club mini crackers, original Greek yogurt with strawberries and blueberries pureed (tastes like a smoothie) and cottage cheese have been my best friend along with my original Myoplex Protein drinks. I love the strawberry and chocolate fudge. Everything is coming along wonderfully and as expected. I am glad to hear everyone is doing well here.

3 days post op is this normal?

Don't get discouraged. I felt the same way during the period you are in. I regretted it for about a week. This website truly got me through it. Keep coming back for any questions. Anything you need answered is pretty much here. Everything I was experiencing, some else had as well and they always said it would get better. It did. I am 3.5 weeks out and I am so happy I did it. All is much better. I can still feel the food going into my stomach but it's no longer a bad feeling. Hope this helps. Take care.
