Hi everybody! It's been awhile since I've touched base. How's everyone doing??? I'm down 45lbs, staying on program and only eating what I should and getting about 4 days of exercise a week. I have my energy back and thankfully I have not thrown up even once since surgery! I'm excited for continuation of our journey and our progress! Hope everyone is doing well.

Your literally in some of the hardest phase of the surgery now.

[@member=rexk] I hear about participating in "life" lol. I had a little reunion get together Friday with since m some high school friends. We did a pot luck and since I'm allowed to have eggs I made some deviled eggs to share but participate in myself. Also one of the ladies made white chicken Chile which I pureed and ate... it really wasn't add hard as I thought. But I definitely agree about being low on energy. I'm ordered vitamins this weekend too and really hope those help! CONGRATULATIONS ON THE WEIGHTLOSS!!! keep it up.... it will be worth the sacrifice!

I'm doing great! I've been able to keep all my food down. And I've stuck to the puree diet faithfully. I have noticed that cold items really cramp my stomach do I've been avoiding those. I got 3 days of walking in last week and this week I hope tho increase to 4 days. I'm definitely feeling low in energy tho. I have about 2 good days and then my body just wants to sleep. I weigh myself tom and I'm hoping for a good number I hope everyone b else is doing good.

Its going well. I'm 2 weeks post opp. Down 25lbs. Just started working out, well walking this week i have been doing well on the food too...keeping everything down! So far so good!!!

Mine follow up was today and I was nervous too but everything went great! And I can't wait to start purees!!! I'm getting so pumped gonna try to start adding some walking in too now....praying I don't pass out! Lol

Great tiredmama! I have to return to with tom which consists of a 4 hour car ride round trip.

I think I'm averaging about 800 calories a day max. But only like 40 oz of fluids

So I found out my itching was an allergic reaction to the adhesive in the steri-stripes. I have red raised rashes and blisters it sucks. On top of that my stomach is upset making me not really want to eat much which is lowering my energy level. All and all I'm full of complaints this is definitely a bad day for me.

Happy 4th everyone! I'm feeling pretty good so far. Not really struggling keeping any fluids down and I'm not in much pain...but the itching of the incision sites while they heal is enough to drive me insane. I'm literally replacing ice packs one after another to soothe the itch. Us anyone else itchy?

Aw tiredmama that sux! I'm so sorry to hear that...they said I could go home today too but it would have been late getting home also so I said pass I'll go home tom. I would be super pissed to nit have my meds. I hope you get them soon and that your night gets better!

He fellow sleevers!! How's everyone feeling? I'm not terrible but under my ribs and around my back is killing be. Thought it was gas so I went for a few laps but didn't really help much. Must just be surgical soreness

Just finished my first or surgery shower and antibiotic cleanse. I check in at 730 am tom! Good luck everyone! You will all be in my thoughts and prayers! Goodbye 80% of our stomach!!!

I think I have figured this liquid diet out now...what to eat/drink with what do it didn't upset my stomach. I also received my pre surgery registration call today. My surgery was bumped back 2 hours but that just means more sleep for me SURGERY @ 10 am cst! Check-in at 730 am!

I'm struggling today folks! I'm out of town at a work conference and was good girl and brought all my foods. But not being able to eat them right when I'm hungry and having to wait for breaks...plus everyone around me eating real food IS KILLING ME!!! Monday can't come fast enough!

I have v8, soup, cream of wheat, sugar free pudding, low-fat yogurt...not sure if these are all allowed on the list but they are on mine!

@ I'm drinking premier Protein, shooting for around 60 grams of protein per day and trying to stay under 1200 calories.

Day 4 of liquid diet...down 14lbs! So glad to finally have joined the party!!! :-P

@@Denise73 OMG 10-15 times/night??? So much more to look forward to! Lol but that's a good point about getting rid of all the fat and toxins!

I would just like to point out that everyone failed to tell me one of the worst parts about the liquid diet besides the hunger is the numerous times I've had to pee! Uncomfortable...so much for trying to sleep thru these 10 days lol

Hi everyone! I start my liquid diet tomorrow. I had my final meals today and then took my starting point photos, measurements and weight...and let me just say I am disgusted! Ran out of tape measure doing my gut and butt and the scale is the largest number I've seen! Good news is its all downhill from here :-\ LET'S DO THIS!

From what I read that means you need to drink it slower...
