Hi all I'm Shamell from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. I was given the link to bariatric pal at my psych eval along with other valuable information to assist with my WLS.
I made the decision to have surgery about three different times and each time was talked out of it with things being said like we'll help you work out, we can diet together and the one I hate most, your not THAT big.... Well I don't want to be that big and if I could have controlled my weight gain I would have done so before now.
My surgery date is April 22 2014. I am not nervous about the surgery, what I'm most nervous about is the two week pre op liquid diet. Any tips or suggestions on any part of this life changing journey would be greatly appreciated.
