Is there still time to get in on this?!

Hi all! Good luck to y'all going under this week and speedy recovery to those that just did. I'm a April 1st sleever. I've been doing great. Spent all day hiking and hula hooping yesterday with the warmer weather. I feel wonderful and have no regrets whatsoever, even though the first few days were rough! So girls hang in there! A quick question... Anyone have any issues yet with thinning hair? I've noticed horribly that mine has already. I'm taking Biotin and making sure I'm getting all my Protein daily. I also am using Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment. Any other suggestions???

Hello! I had my sleeve done on April 1st! No regrets here yet! I experienced the ocean of emotions y'all are experiencing too. No issues in surgery. Everything went as good as could be hoped for. I spent one night in the hospital, where they mostly kept me sedated on iv pain meds. The first night was rough, trying to get comfortable in the hospital bed. And the first day home wasn't a walk in the park. (Again, thankful for the liquid pain meds and diphenhydramine!) once I forced myself up and out healing was on its way. The walking def helped with the gas pains. No pain ever from the incisions, thankfully. I only experienced nausea in the hospital but they gave me a patch for that and it resolved that. I haven't had it since, though they did send me home with nauseas meds I haven't had to take any yet. Today is day 6 post op and I've lost 8 pounds. Tomorrow I will get to add strained soups and pudding. I'm def looking forward to it!!! Good luck to y'all!!!

I just had the sleeve done on Tuesday 4/1/14. I was released from the hospital yesterday. I am still experiencing the worst pains in my abdomen. Is this normal? How long will it last? Does any one have any tips on how to minimize the pain? Also I'm a side to stomach sleeper which is Dang near impossible right now. Any tips? Thanks
