  1. Thanks everyone, for the advice. I did what Vogue suggested and cut back my calorie intake to 1600 and saw results immediately. My plateau broke the next day and the weight has been dropping off ever since. I'm still working on getting in 200 grams of Protein a day. All the nutrition people I've talked to said that's the minimum of what I need to consume if I'm going to be doing weight training, and I definitely want to be doing weight training. I'm also training for a half-marathon. I don't want to just be thin. I want to be buff.
  2. I know this is a question that gets asked a lot on here, but I have a unique situation. It's been three entire weeks since I've lost weight. The scale has been stuck at 290 pounds and hasn't budged. I don't want to talk to my surgeon about this because his bedside manner is...I'll just say it's lacking and I'm already feeling bad enough for not losing the weight. I work out at least 30 minutes every day. Either I run or lift weights. I drink Protein shakes to make sure I get in at least 200 grams of protein every day. I'm consuming about 2,000 calories a day. Please give an answer if you've been there or know what the real problem is. I don't want a bunch of people guessing what needs to change. Thanks!
