Lauren23 What city do you live in?
-
So sorry you are still dealing with this. Maybe check airfare for Houston and come see my doctor. He is awesome and does revisions and special cases. Have you looked into the family leave act at work?
-
How are you feeling?
-
@@krisstep I have lost 46 lbs. where a size 8-10.
-
Hey there, I had my revision from band to bypass May 7th. I bought the gasx chewable cause it had more of the ingredient/medicine to help than the strips.
-
Hey girl, congratulations!! I responded back to your message to me. I'm sure your taking gas x. My doc prescribed pain meds and Zofran. It helps but it takes about a week to fully go away if I remember right. I felt like it was pretty easy recovery and the band surgery was much harder for some reason. Try to Follow directions. The worst part is the lack of energy but it will get better. So happy you are on the other side and no more band!

Ugh, When will you have the revision and what will it consist of?
-
Wow, you are my hero! You have gone th though so much and with a baby. I am hopeful there is light at the end of the tunnel. You are brave!! Praying for you my friend.
-
I don't blame you for being discouraged. I would bug the doctor to get the prescriptions that will work for you. You might ask on here again for advice. I am sure you are not alone on your particular journey. ????

Thinking about you and hoping you are having great results this time????

I was told the same thing and my mind was set on the sleeve. In the end I went with doctors advice and I have never regretted the decision. Also, I have discovered a huge amount of people develop acid reflex with the sleeve and with the bypass it went away. Best wishes on your decision. The bypass rocks!!

I am praying friend! So sorry:( lifting you up now.

I hope you are feeling well today and you will see a big difference!
-
Poor thing! I am praying it works as well. Hang in there and let me know.
-
I was also believing it would be a success. I am so sorry it wasn't. Please keep me updated on what they decide to do. Hang in there! ((HUGS))

I am praying it works this time aNd no more surgery!! You are doing fabulous with your weightloss journey, but don't like you are dealing with this. Let me know how you do.
-
So you do know this feeling to well. You are doing great and it seems like the doc does know what he's doing. He doesn't want to over stretch it out, if that is even possible. Hang in there! Another month and this will be a memory. Like you said, this to shall pass
-
Oh wow, I am so sorry! I do pray you will get relief soon! I went through something like that with the gastric band. It was squeezed so tight I could only keep water down. I had lost down to almost 100 lbs, before getting rebranded and of course now I have the bypass. Please keep me updated and let me know how you are. I'll keep Ya in my prayers

Also check your thyroid. It is not part of regular bloodwork so you have to ask. For the first time in my life I have a thyroid problem after bypass and b12 had to be upped. Hope you feel better soon!

My surgeon has an X-ray like machine you stand in front of and drink some white stuff and they watch it go down. This is how he initially knew what was going on, cause the liquid stopped at that area. I hope it only takes one time, but it sounds like they are just giving you worse case scenario. I can't wait til you feel better.

That is awesome!!! I am down 43 pounds. I am 13 lbs from my goal. so excited for us!!
