I was banded Oct. 3 and I go back to have my band filled on Nov. 19, 2007. Can anyone tell me how things changed or if things change after they got their first fill?

Hang in there! I felt light headed too... the nurse told me to increase my liquid protein intake.

Hello All! I had my surgery on October 2nd and on that date I was 367 pounds. Today, I am 349 pounds and counting. It has been very difficult on the liquid diet, I must admit that I did cheat a little. My doctor has recommended that I eat more because I was feeling light headed. But, I refuse to go crazy with eating, because those pounds can easily come back. Now, if I could just find the time to exercise!

Banded 10-2 and feeling seriously dehydrated

I got my band on Oct. 3rd and I came home the next day. I'm feel myself feeling dehydrated and I'm constipated. Anyone has any suggestions? -
Don't feel lonely! I got my band on Oct. 3rd and I was home the next day. Now drinking all the clear liquids have been a problem, I feel light headed sometimes and I crave MEAT all day and all night.

I was banded on October 2nd at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, IL. by Dr. Kane Jr. I know that this it the best thing for me because I tried everything else. Am I hungry, No! Is my ming trying to trick me into thinking that I'm hungry YES! I will try a protein shake and see what happens. Any suggestion will be appreciated. -
Holly I just got my surgery date of 10/2/07 and I'm new to this site and would like to be in your group. I live in Illinois but with the help of the internet I can stay in touch with all of you. Looking forward to the surgery ... BIG K
