  4. Thanks Trim Kim, you are sweet! I got out of the hospital today and so far have been able to keep soymilk down for a while. It's nighttime now, so I am ready to fight the night hours (I hope the phenegran will help through the night to keep me asleep). I got to see my baby, which is the best medicine. I'll keep you posted.
  5. Kim, I had my surgery on 8/20 and so far I can't keep anything down! I'm in the hospital right now, they don't know what is wrong with me. My dad had it done 2/2005 and has had no problems and has lost 110. Keep your chin up, you will make it (I am just waiting on my journey to finally kick in!)

    Sensitive Stomach

I had my band on 8/20/2007. Since that time I have had very limited intake of anykind. I am currently in the hospital, dehydrated. I had the test to see if there was anything getting through my band-it gets through fine, but it "sits" in my stomach. I throw up after any intake (example, sometimes immediately, sometimes 4-5 hours later). The doctor does not know what is wrong with me. I had an ultrasound of my Gall Bladder-I have stones, but he is not worried about them right know. They give me meds, I throw them up. I get sick from the smell of beef broth. I am desperate, any thoughts?
