Hi my name is Val I found this site while looking for support from other Barriatric patients. I have a surgery date of April 22nd at St. Josephs Hospital in Toronto. My surgeon is Dr. David Lindsey. Wow! I still can't believe that it's almost here. I started my Optifast on Tuesday. Boy that was tough for thr first three days but I am now on day six and I'm getting to be a real pro. I know I am just beginning this part of my journey but I like many have struggled my whole adult life with obesity. I am ready for the lifestyle changes and waiting to meet the new me! My daughter and I are doing this together. She is
five months out of her surgery and has an impressive weight loss of 148 lbs. She looks awesome and feels just as good. I have her as my biggest supporter as well as my Hubby. So I could ramble on for hrs but I will say that I am looking forward to any and all the support I can get from here. I am really looking towards a healthier, happier, and more active life.
