  1. Awww congrats! You look smashing!
  2. You look absolutely amazing. Only 3 lbs left to go! You've been such a great inspiration - thanks for sharing your journey :-)
  3. You look great! You are definitely rocking that sleeve. Keep it up!
  4. For the last year, I've been hesitant to go out any dates for various reasons (clothes too tight, small movie seats etc). Well after 44lbs down since my surgery, I ventured out this evening on my first date in SO LONG and it felt SO GOOD!!! Nice movie and dinner and hallelujah the movie seat wasn't pressing on my hips at all! At dinner I slid into a narrow seat comfortably. When getting up and down both at the movie and the restaurant, I had NO joint pain. I was instead aching from my workouts this week. It just feels so good to go out without being apprehensive about fitting anywhere. Going to bed grinning from ear to ear and off to zumba in a couple of hours. Good nite my sleeve community!

    Any May 2014 sleevers?

I was sleeved on 5/6. Down 44lbs to date. I hit a 3 week stall last month. It was extremely frustrating but I hung on cause I could tell I was still losing inches even though the scale was not budging. Additionally I now have regular BMs. My only major issue is still drinking water so I have been making/ drinking infused water. That goes down well. As far as meats are concerned, I am able to eat everything. I also exercise at least 5-6 times a week for an hour. Absolutely grateful for my sleeve and wishing everyone continued success.

    100LB Photoshoot

    Absolutely beautiful! Great job.
  11. Awww @@proudgrammy thanks so much for the encouraging words! You are one of my inspirations :-)Indeed it felt absolutely wonderful hence more the reason why I am so glad I chose to pursue WLS despite all the naysayers. I am definitely looking to "plump" into a middle seat like you someday soon. As I walked on planes, I could tell from people's looks that they were silently hoping I would not sit next to them LOL. It feels SO good to know I don't have to deal with such stares anymore and just know that I can actually fit in the seat!!! RELIEF!
  12. Yesterday, I celebrated an amazing NSV that I know a lot of you had already experienced. The last time I had been on a plane was in February and I can never forget that trip. The seats on both flights were small and I was absolutely MISERABLE and was left with hematomas and bruises on both hips that took weeks to heal. Since then I have been dreading getting on a plane again and mind you my job requires I travel so the leave of absence was a huge blessing and I was also blessed to work from home for the last 3 years. Well yesterday was AMAZING, not only did I fit into my seat and the belt had some space after I buckled it BUT I was also able to cross my legs. No bruises nor hematomas to report! I love this weight loss journey! Good luck to ALL and happy 4th! Let's all eat sensibly :-)

    May Sleever Roll Call

Surgery date was 5/6, down 38lbs from a highest of 292. Hit a major stall but that didn't stop me and scale has started moving again. Congrats to ALL! Your stats are FAB.

    One year surgiversary!

You look great! What an amazing transformation.
  17. Thanks for the encouragement @@SleevelessinSeattle :-) I'll definitely keep with the plan no matter what the scale says.
  18. So tomorrow will mark 6 weeks post op. The first 3 weeks I was able to lose 34lbs but I have stalled for the last 3. My NUT keeps telling me it happens but I am getting really concerned. Scale has only gone down 1lb! Yikes! Am working out as of last week and just praying for things to shake up cause it's depressing...
  19. You know you are my hero! Looking great :-) Hoping to break this daggone stall soon so I can follow in your amazing footsteps.
  20. @@lynn2win I started at 292. Sorry to hear you are in the same place. I haven't cheated cause there are still a few things I can't tolerate and trust I can't judge you :-) Let's just stay positive and struggle on. Did you talk to your NUT too?
  21. I have had to take lovenox 30 days post op and now my PCP is bridging me back to my daily lifelong dose of Coumadin (I have a history of 2 pulmonary embolisms with DVT). Let me know if you have any questions.

    Sleeved May 6th

I was sleeved the same day :-) Congrats on your weight loss. I have lost 32lbs since and just moved to soft foods this week. Was a relief as I couldn't stand the protein shakes any longer. Good luck with the rest of the journey :-)
