The nutritionist said that 17 pound loss in 7 weeks is good . I really expected more loss by 7 weeks. She went over my diet log and said I was doing the right things, I am just depressed wanting to buy new clothes ..

I had a sleeve done. My dr didn't stress calories. Just carbs and protein. I only get about 800 calories in.

Its amazing how different our doctors are and what they want us to eat. A lot of the things on your example menu, I'm encouraged not to eat. I do agree with many of the things you've said. I'm doing much better now. Even though my nutritionist didn't want me to count calories or protein grams, I have started. It's making me much more accountable!I am also at a stand still with my weight loss . Sleeved on 4-11, I have lost only 17 pounds, crazy cause I also am tracking everything , getting 80 of protine and not going over 1200 calories daily , I am getting all my Water pluse extra, with 30 min of exercise a day. How can my body still be holding on to the weight!

Hi! I am 12 days post op! Feel great! No pain. Walking and drinking my water, down 6 pounds!

I had the lap band and it restricted my intake, but my weightloss was very disapointing. I had it for 5 years was just recently sleeved. My total loss with the band was 30 pounds. And daily vomiting

It hasn't been to hard I am day 3 of the 14 day liquid. It helped that this mornings service was about self control.

I read that the smaller the liver is the easier it is for the surgeon and LESS painful after the surgery, I am on a two week liquid diet. My surgery is April 11th.

I also am scared I won't lose weight . I was banded.. For the last 6 years. And am scheduled for April 11 for the sleeve ( any surgery buddy's out there!) I didn't lose with the band and I am thinking I won't lose with the sleeve..
