Thanks for the reply, sounds like your schedule has worked great. I'm at 4 weeks Post Operative and I currently do not have a exercise plan. My job is physically demanding, constantly working in the yard and I do walk a food bit, but I'm eager to put a plan into effect. I appreciate the information, sounds like its time to get those tires pumped up on my mountain bike and hit the trails!

Hey guys, looking for feedback regarding how long post op did you wait before running and doing other forms of strength/aerobic conditioning? Thank you very much?

1 Week Stall already!?
vonyek replied to butterfly2014's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
@ Butterfly...I thought it was funny and very coincidental that our cut dates and stalls times were very similar. I also have made it "over the hump" of the dreaded stall and now am witnessing a nice consistent loss (6 pounds this week). Stay positive and keep grinding friend! Tim from Dirty Jerz -

I feel ya, its very discouraging to go thru the surgery and put forth commitment in your post op diet and not lose. I lost 30 during 2 week pre op diet and 1 pound since surgery... which was 16 days ago. 1 pound in 16 days is very discouraging but none the less we must follow the plan and get thru this. Best of luck. -
Pre- Op....30 pounds....9 days Post-Op....0 pounds. I know that that my water in intake and is poor and the I am guilty of indulging in a teaspoon of peanut butter with my protein shakes and maybe an extra cup of soup. But not to lose a pound for 9 days is a little bit concerning. I meet with Doctor tomorrow and hopefully he will have an explanation for this stop in weight loss. Thanks for any encouragement or similar experiences. Discouraged in Jersey

Just about a week after being sleeved here in NJ. Wife and I are noticing that I have a constant case of Dragon Breath...I brush the same but damn, my breath is bumpin'! Any recent sleevers have this problems and any solutions. Smelly in Jersey

Thanks guys, surgery was this past Monday and I have some places to be tomorrow. Pain meds no longer a concern, feeling great. Appreciation to those whom responded.

How many days after your Sleeve surgery did you wait to drive a vehicle? Thanks

I had my last pre op appointment today. Essentially they may draw blood and go over your personal history with you one last time. They gave me a last minute schedule of things that I had to do before surgery. I believe the appointment was more for the anesthesiologist as he prepares to do his job. I am getting cut on Monday, good luck to you. Tim from NJ
