When I was fat I wore a 42DD. I have lost about 55 pounds and I needed a new bra. I went and bought a 38DD and I have found that the cup size is wrong, I am falling over the top of the bra. I might need to find a 38DDD/38E. Has anybody heard of this? Could my cup size really be larger now?

When I was in High School I loved to run. And I ran every night after work until I got pregnant with my 12 year old. While I was pregnant I had horrible morning sickness that didn't go away until after I delivered him, but the morning sickness always hit worse at night so I stopped running. Yada Yada Yada I never got back into running and got fatter and fatter. Tonight I decided I was going to try to run around the block and I did it. It took me 15 minutes and I'm sure most runners would have said I was jogging but to me it was a run. I came home and laid on the floor panting like a dog for 10 minutes but I did it, and wanted to share!

I wanna be friends too! I want friends that don't sit around and eat as entertainment! -
I am in Downey, CA and I am looking for somebody to go walking with on Sundays. I keep hearing about people doing hiking clubs and I am not ready to join that yet, but may be a walking park might be a good start. I can't go to Inglewood everyday but I can go once a week.

I was healed enough for the pool at my 3 week check up. I think it depends on the person. Now I just have little red lines and I am around 10 weeks.

Debi Amador replied to cindyvirden.com's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

Help! I can't keep any food down!
Debi Amador replied to butterfyeffect's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Best advise is to SLOW down. I use "Eat Slow" an app on my cell phone that has me take a bite every minute and a half. Eating slower helps you notice when you are full. I have no began to realize how much I can eat and to stop myself before I get to that point. Good Luck! -
When did you start exercising? Post Op one week today
Debi Amador replied to LookatmeNow34's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A

How hard do you sweat during workouts?
Debi Amador replied to Comfy_Blue's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I have been pushing myself at the gym for 3 weeks and I get the same moist feeling but I don't drip sweat the way others do. I am losing weight but I am not sweating like others. I don't know why but it is common, "fat girls don't sweat, we glisten." -
How the heck do you keep your carbs under 50 when a banana is 30 carbs?!
Debi Amador replied to kclaws's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I was just told to stay away from bread, rice, potatoes, and anything of that nature. Besides that I was told to eat my Protein first then my veggies and if there is still room the fruit. -

Weight lost compared to how well the diet/exercise plan was followed?
Debi Amador replied to snowkitten's topic in Weight Loss Surgery Success Stories
I'm 34 years old. Start weight 271 Month 1 I lost 30 pounds Month 2 I lost 19 pounds Month 3 not over yet. But I started about 6 weeks out hitting the gym 5-6 times a week and my doctor never game me a real diet. Just guidelines like stay away from carbs and high calorie drinks and eat slowly. Protein first and then veggies. Hope it helps! -
As long as your job isn't lifting or anything too physical you should be fine. 2 weeks post-op you shouldn't be in Water or lifting but everything else you should be fine to do.

Has anyone tried/is trying the Couch to 5k? (If not, what exercises do you do?)
Debi Amador replied to Comfy_Blue's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I do 30 minutes on a treadmill and then 16 circuit weight machines daily and 3 times a week I take an aqua aerobics class. Seems to be working for me right now. -
I was sleeved on March 11th and I have been working out at the gym everyday for the last 3 weeks. My husband is also over weight (6'2" and 285 lbs.) I want him to come to the gym with me and all week he tells me he is too busy from work, so I begged him to go to the gym with me today, he agreed. We got the the gym and the kids club was closed so there was nothing for my 8 year old daughter to do but sit on the side and wait. She was doing that but she was bored, my husband did 30 minutes on the treadmill next to me and then he was gone. I asked my daughter where he went and she didn't know. My son had finished by that time and he wanted to leave. I kept doing my weight lifting and trying to do everything I normally do and they kept walking into a room they aren't allowed in to ask if I was done yet. I finally got mad and left, we found my husband sitting on a bench out front complaining about how long it took me. I don't know what to do, I'm angry at them for stopping me from working out and so disappointed that they don't understand that I take my work out and weight lose seriously. I don't know why they can't see that for 15 years I have put them first in every aspect and they still fight me when I am trying to put myself first now in this. This is hurting me more than them eating out all the time and drinking soda in front of me and eating ice cream daily.

Debi Amador replied to fuzzymonkey's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Kale chips is a good options, might not be crunchy enough but you just have to bake them for a while longer.
