I'm getting sleeved this Friday 3/28, really f'ing nervous and a little scared. Everyone says "you're gonna be okay", but that's easy to say when you're normal weight and don't struggle. My friends think I'm cheating by doing this and think I just need to be like them and get on a bike. Im really tired of the protein shakes and have been grouchy at home because I'm so damn hungry. I've cheated a little, only after reading here that people cheat on the pre-op diet all the time. My food cheat has been rotisserie chicken from Costco (cheapest best meal on Earth!), sushi, and some greek yogurt. No In&Out, no Lily's tacos, no adobada, no sausage mcmuffin.....After surgery, I'm finding new friends and plan to eat less. I'm optimistic that the sleeve will work for me long-term... I don't drink much, not into dessert food, and only crave fast food once a month. Thanks for listening!
