I go for my post op visit on Friday, I am wondering if I will get a fill, my stomach is bulging in spot where my largest incision is and my incision is red around it, also I am the only one who does not feel my port? Is this normal ?

Thank you, I feel this incision might be infected, but I sure need a fill cause I sure get hungry and this liquid diet is not doing it anymore

I hate to discuss this but I have to ask. Did anyone notice a change in bowel movements, I always had trouble in this department since I have diverticulitis, but I have noticed lately that has not been a problem, also I think I have become lactose intolerance, I dranka small milk shake the other day and for some reason it did not sit well.

So I will be 2 wk post op tomorrow , and as of yesterday I have not felt well, yesterday I was feeling kinda hypoglycemic and very tired , then today I woke up feeling nauseated still feeling this way, this morning I got on the scale and gained 2 lbs WTH ! I had been feeling very good prior to this , has this happened to any one, also I have only lost a total of 15 lbs including preop and post op

3 days post op and I can drink a whole bottle of water and not feel any restriction, I am suppose to? Also I am assuming that I will never be able to eat bread again ?

I tried belviq before deciding to go with the band, it did not work for me and was very expensive

I had my lap band and hernia repair 4/11 , I feel great today , my soreness has subsided and the best part is my clothes they feel lose , I did get on the scale this morning and I have lost a total of 14lbs , I know it's not a lot , but I am happy this is really happening, the only question I have is yesterday I did eat some chicken from my soup and it hurt so bad cause I did not chew it all it even caused pain in my shoulders and hiccups is this normal ?

Dr.Riley did my lapband and hernia repair on 4/11 by Monday 4/14, I was back at work still a little sore but doing good by Wednesday I felt a lot better.

Well I am now 4 day post op and I am feeling a little better I did have to get back to work yesterday, would of rather stayed home but must work. Everything seems to be going well which I am so happy , except for today at lunch I did feel very weak and I figured it must be that I am not having anything except liquids, so I went to chick-fil-a anf ordered a chicken noodle soup, well needless to say I ate only 1/2 but I did feel a lot better, I am excited and can not wait for the next stage...

I have a lot of swelling in my belly I wonder how long it takes for that to go away I have been using an ice pack and it does help

Unfortunately I have to get back to work tomorrow, but I sit allday, yesterday I had my first scare I got out of the house went with my husband to have lunch I was having french onion soup and all was well until some of the cheese or bread they put in the soup slipped past me and before you know it, it got stuck I got so scared I had to get up and walk around till it passed, I also got on my scale this morning and there is no change, I just don't understand this. ..

I had the same pain the same day of my surgery and I would just extend my arms out and rotate them a lot until it finally went away

I am so excited my surgery is tomorrow morning I can't wait!!! my husband is worried since I will not be able to eat or have anything for Easter...

I am having my lap band on Friday, through True Results Dr. Riley has anyone had theirs done with him and what was his post op diet ?

I just got my call with the instructions for my surgery this Friday 4/11 , I am ready to go just getting nervous... I know I do this *-*

I am getting excited , I know the doctor did not tell me how much weight to lose just that I needed to shrink my liver. Nowi am a little disappointed cause i have been on my pre-op diet sine 3/24 and I have only lost 9lbs????? WTH

I have a question so after you have your lapband done you have to be on a liquid diet only for how long

So I go Monday for my EGD,now I'm getting nervous after I have my EGD on Monday I go Friday for my surgery I usually weigh on Fridays but I'm kind of scared to weigh tomorrow I really don't feel like I have lost anything.

I go for my EGD on Monday 4/7 then on 4/11 I get my lap band, I am getting nervous. I started my pre-op diet on 3/24 weighed in@ 228, I promised my self I would only weigh on Fridays so I weighed 3/28 and weighed 222, I am feeling nervous about weighing myself this Friday cause I don't feel like I have lost any weight, also I am worried that I will nit be able to be back at work on Monday following lap band, the nurse told me I will be able to.

Not really sure I need to lose weight , I think just shrinky liver , buthow do you know if your liver is small enough, also I did cheat one day on my pre-op ate one slice of pizza
