My name is Jennifer. I'm 31 years old. I'll be 32 by the time I have my surgery, which is in June (2014). I live in Baton Rouge, LA. I chose to get the sleeve because I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired!!! I have been overweight so long I don't even remember what it feels like to be thin and healthy!! My family has been a huge support system especially when it came to the decision to have surgery. I'm still too young to give up on having a "normal" life. I've been with my boyfriend for 7 years and I'm ready to take the next step but I want to be healthy when we finally say "I do". I love things that make me laugh. I love laughing! I listen to a very ecclectic mix of music, everything from Mumford & Sons to Justin Timberlake to Metallica to George Strait and Johnny Cash!! I love to read! I work at a pediatric doctor's office. I love my job! My surgery is scheduled for June 18, 2014. Everyone always asks me if I'm nervous or scared about having the surgery, but I'm more excited than anything!
