I had a leak test morning of discharge , but I hear some doctors do it at post op visit . I would call surgeon!

Are you taking narcotics? Those would be making me nauseous

I'm not the least bit physically hungry... But head hunger sucks lol... That is all

Definitely not the easy way out at all!! Easy would have been staying the way we were!!! Feeling ok today... Maybe overdoing it with walking. No incision pain , but pain in my chest if I breathe to deep... Prob from hernia repair... A little cramping/gurgling/am I hungry feelings coming from my belly lol Just drinking my Water slow, may treat myself to a sugar free ice pop for dinner... Whoo hoo About to take my first shower in 3 days so that's also exciting lol Hope everyone is feeling alright!

When was your surgery? I am on clear liquids until Sunday, then I can start shakes... my stomach is gurgling like it's hungry, but I know it's not. Glad you are doing well

So I am home now! Had no real issues.. feeling pretty good... achy, a little sore, and my neck is hurting. I feel a lot better than I thought I would. Had a Hiatal hernia repair while they were in there, so a bit more restriction by way of getting my fluids in. Gotta stay hydrated. Having no constipation issues, as a matter of fact, quite the opposite lol.. How is everyone else fairing?

No nausea is a wonderful thing. I am home and typing from my computer. Feeling pretty good... achy in my neck and shoulders, but other than that... not too bad..knock wood!

Hey everyone, my surgery was 8am yesterday. Doing pretty well. Was in some pain right in recovery , slept for hours, mild soreness in shoulders from gas, and some mild abdomen pain. I haven't had any narcotics since right out of recovery .. Just Tylenol and topredal. Been up walking the gas out and trying to keep doing my incentive spirometer . They just came and took my lab work. Hopefully going home today!!! Excited to start using this tool:) Glad everyone is doing alright Keep posting!

Got the call ..have to be at hospital At 645... Nervous and excited, and a little sad as my husband decided tonight to tell me his much he doesn't want this, and how selfish I'm being considering the risks involved ... But upward and onward! Tomorrow is the big day

Hi everyone! Omg! I had to check in. Can't believe surgery is in 2 days!!!! So excited and nervous!

I'm so sorry to hear you are going through that! You will get lots of support on here! The truth of the matter is your friends are more than likely a little jealous, and a lot scared if the change that is to come . Soon you won't be overweight and unhealthy with them anymore.. You will be losing weight and feeling great, and they could very well be in the same spot they are now, and that's prob scary to them. You are actually doing something about it. T Lord knows this is no quick fix or easy way out... I can't stand when people say this... Our lives are about to change forever... There are certain things we will never be able to do again. It takes a brave person to make this decision so kudos to you. I actually haven't told ANYONE other than my husband , and certainly not my 128 lb BFF who will most certainly say YET again that I can do it on my own . Your friends are probably a little worried about you too. People who don't educate themselves about the surgery are scared of the unknown... I hope your friends come around:) I'm sure they will. In the meantime ... Be excited:) surgery in 4 days... Oh my goodness!!!

Love this! I won't miss feeling that every chair I sit in is going to break I won't miss being in school and attempting to slide myself in sideways to those chair/desk combo horrors , and then having to practically ooze myself out of it. I won't miss weekly clinicals in the hospital where some part of my shirt or pants gives way when bending/working I won't miss being out of breath doing everything I won't miss the awkward and sometimes completely ineffective wiping hygiene . I won't miss turning my husband down sexually Everytime he asks because I'm so disgusted with myself, and utterly mortified. Clothes that don't fit, do wearing the same 2-3 pants in rotation. Black capris on a beach No to any and all trips and activities Not being able to catch up to my 4 year old I could go on and on lol

Exactly.. So many people worried about what the surgery will do to my health... Um how about I'm 300 lbs, pre diabetic, constantly out of breath and uncomfortable ? People should be next to me with freaking Pom poms lol

Congrats to all who have lost weight already!!! I was down 10 lbs but gained 3 back... Wouldn't be getting surgery if keeping the weight off wasn't an issue lol. I also have told nobody!! Nobody except my husband about getting sleeved... To many huffy, " concerned" family members and friends. I would have spent the last 3 months listening to them try to talk me out of it... AGAIN... Which they did 3 years ago when I was 70 lbs lighter... What a waste lol So great to have pals on here who will be going through this together!! ????

Hi everyone! It seems the consensus is that the unjury protein is the one to get? I'll be ordering that today, I've been drinking the EAS carb control ready made, and they are delish , but gets expensive. How's everyone doing on their pre-op? I have good days and bad... Finals this week, so watching my carb intake has not been my #1 priority. Also fighting off a cold with zicam. Praying I get rid of it. I have my final pre-op appointment today with my surgeon. Can't believe I will be sleeved in 1 week!!!! I am so excited, and nervous, and truthfully... Wishing I could shove my fave with all my favorite goods from now until then lol

2 weeks and 1 day before surgery... And 4 finals from school in between... Aye! Cutting out sugar starting today... Should be interesting! So excited to get going!
