I enjoyed a glass of wine as well... Also didn't get buzzed!

I'm 6 weeks out and plan to have a small drink... Many surgeons have different rules as far as that!

Hi everyone! Relax, you guys are hitting the dreaded 3 week stall! Most people have gone through it.. Just keep doing what you are doing and the scale will start moving again! No worries;) congrats on the weight loss so far!

The dreaded 3 week stall is upon me... Today is 4 weeks out, and down 32 lbs... 22 since surgery , but scale hasn't moved in 5 days! Hoping I wake up tomorrow with a loss Other than that... No issues, feeling pretty good, 1 more week to soft foods!! How is everyone else doing? I do find it a hard time getting all my fluids in now that I'm eating purée... Because of having to wait 45 minutes after eating to drink .. I guess thAt will get better with time !

21 lbs is a great loss! That's over 4lb a week! That's how you have to look at it:) so are you completely off protein shakes? I still have to do 2 a day, then 1 3 oz meal!

That sounds great! Yes to the burping I just mashed up a teaspoon of avocado to the point of purée and ate it.. Not starting purée until tomorrow, but I needed SOMETHING lol It tasted great, my taste buds were so happy

I start purée Monday! So still no real chewing lol, but at least it's something besides shakes .. Can't wait

Confession time I chewed a piece of egg in my mouth and then spit it out... It's been 18 days for goodness sake... I miss CHEWING! lol

Thanks for the tip! I've never felt true fullness with the shakes either, I will take your advice!

I'm Orange County ny! By Newburgh! I had my surgery may 20, so 17 days out. My surgery was done by tri-state bariatric ! Feeling great!

This thread hasn't been very active! How is everyone doing? Busy attempting to get all their protein in? Lol! I'm doing well.. Lost 13 lbs that first week, and 5 the second week, which feels so little considering how little I'm consuming, but is good overall! I'm very much looking forward to starting purée food on Monday Hope everyone is doing well

I wrote a thread about this a few days ago. I have experienced hunger since 10 days out.. Not starving, but hungry! The liquids don't do it for me.. I'm ridiculously excited about purée in 1 week!
