Fri-Sat weekend in San Antonio with the ACA JL'ers. Worked out on Friday and Sunday. Did not keep track of food. Drank lots!

Hey guys just checking in. I was out of town from Friday until today. Girls trip at a resort in San Antonio. It was lots of fun, drink, food, etc. We will see how it comes out on Wednesday. I did get my workout in on Friday and Saturday. I am going to REALLY shoot to have 2 days this week when I can hit the food goal. I am totally exhausted but looking forward to going to my butt kicking class on tomm am and getting back to journaling my food. GEEZ...that helps SO much. I really realized how much I was eating. Telly, I'll miss you. P'Nut-COOLEST PHOTO EVER! Welcome to all of the new folks. I am going to try and get a photo done tomm. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER! Back to the drawing board tomm. I will say that even though it does not look GREAT I am doing better than I would without the challenge.

I am another good stat to look at, as I have only lost 40 pounds and my one year is 6 days away. I say "only"; however, it has a changed my life. Who would have thought I would be more content at 184 than I ever was at 140 when I was younger. I feel REALLY good. I still would like to get down to 145 but I am THRILLED to have lost 40 pounds. The reason I have not lost more is very easy---I still eat the way I did when I weighed 222.5. I just don't eat as much. I could have lost more but I was not hardcore. It actually has been about learning to love myself again...and the band was the first step to doing that. Taking back my life from all the people (including the "Lindsay" devil that lived on my shoulder telling me I was not good enough) that were sucking it dry. YOU CAN lose 100 pounds but you could also lose 40...either way-you will likely change in a *big* way.

:third: I freaking LOVE the smileys. I could play with them all day long. Yes, work is no fun today and I am just trying to get through the day...Some day I will accomplish some work--just not today. It is rainy and I don't want to do..the things left on my "to do" list.

I AM LAUGHING SOOOOO HARD that I just worked off the 3 almonds I ate when I was writing earlier. Funny, that is HYSTERICAL! Nothing wrong with almonds...unless you see everything I ate before that. ":faint: SNACK: whole bag of soy crisps, 330 calories and 3 teenie weenie snickers (unknown calories)" They are the "whole natural ones".

Telly, I would DIE if I lost 15 pounds this month. Not going to happen with the food I am eating today. (She says as she puts the almond in her mouth). I do a case-by-case basis. There were times when I wished I had not told someone that I had and times I was really glad people knew and supported me. Several people at work know, several family members but not all (THANK GOD!) and several friends. I have NO trouble sayig it has been eating less and working out more. I was a little nervous at first when people would say I looked so good. I felt like they were just saying it bc they knew. I was also suspect of several friends that said I looked great. I thought....did so and so tell them. I am less that way now, after a year. Now I say - THANK YOU! -
I am getting in on this...I need a good Telly kickin'. I went and did the WORST BUTT KICKING CLASS this a.m. All Telly inspired. One hour of PURE torture.

I did NOT want to get up AT ALL but I kept thinking about you guys and how bummed I was going to be if I did not get my butt out of bed. I am going to check out your excercise thread. YEAH Telly!!! I am planning to start my June workout madness at 6:30 in the a.m. at this BUTT KICKING class. I will be sore for days! I also take Centrum chewables. Although I am out right now...that reminds me... P'Nut-my starting weight for today is 184.

184 Breakfast: 180 SBucks Shake 9 180 Cottage Cheese 22 30 Peaches 0 TOTAL for Bfast: 390 Lunch: with Warren and Jeri at Castle Hill Interior Mexican Salad. Did not stop soon enough after I was full but did not eat everything. Left 2 muffins and 1 empanada. YEAH! Would have never done that before :faint: SNACK: got back to work and felt a little anxious and wanted something sweet. Ate 3 teenie weenie snickers and 1 string of twizzlers. SNACK: Popcorn-small bag (100 calories) and even gave some away. :eek: SNACK: handful of almonds :straight SNACK: tall vanilla frap :straight DINNER: nachos at the movies ANALYSIS: No wonder I am not losing any weight. Too much snacking. Not enough protein. Could have been worse though!!

P'Nut, you and Dawg look great. Like totally different people. You must be SO proud of your accomplishments! P'Nut, What is the plan for the June Challenge? Are we "weighing in" today or tomorrow? Telly, will you PLEASE push me during the June challenge (workout wise)???? I need a goal and someone to kick my butt...and I think you are just the person to do it. :confused:
