2 year mark (yeahhhh) and losing hair again
Sassypants92201 posted a topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Two years out and all is well!! I lost a ton of hair, right after, and I considered cutting all my hair off and starting over and then it stopped. For some reason, I am losing my hair again. Possibly worse this time. Is this common? -

I was sleeved June 6, 2014. This week I've been having pain in my lower left abdominal area. I also am super bloated and gained almost 5 lbs. I've been hungry all the time. This is the first time I've been hungry since the surgery. It could be my female anatomy or could be the sleeve?!

Wow-so much similar except the weight loss. I am 5'6", 208 on surgery date of 6/9/14 but I am struggling to get below 180. I am green with envy looking at your numbers since I would do anything to be at 150 much less below. Can we talk?? -

I agree with Lexie. I don't spread my business at all. I AM indeed a private person. I don't share my salary, tax bracket, political stance, how much I paid for my house, my credit score. Heck, unless I knew you, personally, you didn't know I was pregnant. My fb friends knew after he was born and his dad tagged me in a pic. I wouldn't tell anyone if I had heart surgery. What do I look like telling anyone I had weight loss surgery? And who are you to judge me or anyone else. Shame on you. -
I will not be doing the glucose test. Have you ever looked at the ingredient list in the liquid? Not healthy at all. Yuck.

I would assume that the stomach has nothing to do with your uterus. Kind of why I don't think my OB needs to know about my surgery. -

Sassypants92201 replied to vanessa012287's topic in Pregnancy with Weight Loss Surgery
I just found out and I am 4 months out. I haven't lost any weight for a couple of months now, though. I had a lower BMi to start out. -
Sounds like fun. I'm in.

If you are a true vegan.
-
Sugar is actually not allowed on a vegan diet.
-
I have done vegan diets before and I LOVE the vegan way! You can get your proteins and be vegan! Google sample vegan diet plans or buy a book. We don't eat much meat, at all, and we only eat organic. I would like to make the switch to total vegan within the next year.

I am a week post op and I have a rash across my stomach where my bandages were. I have had them off for days so I'm not sure why they just came out of nowhere. They do itch. I did a Google search and saw it's rather common. Dr visit or just let it be?

I am down 22 lbs from June 9th. I'm a little disappointed but it's all good. I will prevail.

June Gastric Sleevers Out there

I love, love, love T25. I tried P90X years ago and it wasn't my thing. I also love that it's 25 min. I do it right when I wake up (I don't work mornings) to get it out of the way. My 2 year old son does it also. Lol -

I was sleeved June 9th. I started at 208 and I've been at 188 for almost four weeks. I'm having a hard time right now. I have gone back to protein shakes and water only. I do T 25 every morning and I'm very active. -
A little over a month out and stopped losing.
Sassypants92201 replied to Sassypants92201's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It's always great to hear other people's journey. I seem to see these great, amazing end results and I get discouraged and wonder if I'm going to fail. So many emotions in the beginning. Thanks for the feedback everyone! -

Ok, my starting weight was 208 and I'm now 188 and I've been here for almost 2 weeks. My surgery was June 9th. I am grateful for a 20 lb loss, for sure, but I'm also concerned I am not losing. I am a server so I am moving alot and my diet is very clean. I haven't started doing T25 yet but will start next week. I am having a hard time getting my meals in. Any suggestions. -
