I have been following this and I can tell there are alot of personal issues between some of you all. Having had my surgery in Mexico, I will say there are HUGE differences between our medical systems and theirs. Behavior like this would not be allowed in the United States and Omar would be fired and there could be a lawsuit. I do think it's a good warning to give people and they can do what they want with it. Y'all are making this into something much bigger than it needs to be.

Hey all, great to have this thread and keep it going. I am down 20 lbs from my day of surgery. SW 208 CW 188. I haven't moved from this weight all week. I'm doing well and I'm going for a walk/jog now. I'm just going to keep on keeping on.

Thanks. I do keep hearing about these stalls but didn't know how long to expect it to last or how to help bust out of it.

It's crazy because now I get upset when I'm not losing a pound a day. I'm down 16 lbs as of this morning.

Mine feels like my wrist is broken and it's warm to the touch.

They gave me a steroid shot and a steroid prescription for home. The rash is gone but I'm still itchy in some places. I switched to muscle milk because it's dairy free.

I'm doing great. I can keep everything down and fluids are going down down. I'm down 15 lbs today. Not bad for two weeks out. I can fit a towel around myself after my shower!

I did just that. Antibiotics and, just today, it's feeling better. Still a knot where the IV was but good to know it will go away.

So I have a rash that is spreading all over my entire body. Dr told me it's something I'm ingesting since it's spreading all over. That's easy because it could only be my protein powder. But, what if my body is rejecting the foreign object inside? Is that possible? I asked urgent care Dr and he said no, that the rash would be more localized. Any feedback?

I am not on any medications right now and nothing in my home has changed. The Dr said it has to be something I'm putting into my body because it is from my feet to the back of my neck. The only thing I'm drinking is protein shakes so I switched to muscle milk because it's lactose free. So, that leaves me to question if it could be the staples...

I am a server and I went back 5 days after my surgery. It was super busy and it was fine. I was actually happy to be at work and out of the house for a couple days.

Feeling better every day. I'm down 10 lbs still. I've had a couple issues with my fever, now rash all over and still bloated but all in all I'm ok. I am fitting in my size Large shirts and size 14 bottoms, comfortably. I feel like I've lost way more than 10 lbs. I can't wait until I can work out!!

I'm on day 5 and my stomach is still very swollen. I was expecting this and it's not a problem but I'm just curious, when does the swelling usually go away?

I was self pay. Rash is getting worse and has spread. I am going to urgent care now. I do have insurance but I don't like to go to the Dr unless I have to. I feel insurance costs are so high because people jump and go to the Dr over every little thing. But that's a whole different message board.

Yes, I understand Dr is always best but I do not like to waste insurance money and Dr time, my time going to the Dr when I don't have to.

I'm not taking any pain meds at all. I'm guessing it has something to do with the adhesive. It actually burned my skin in one spot on the side. I took benadryl last night but can't during the day because it knocks me out. I'm glad my incisions look good. My Dr didn't glue them or anything so I was worried.

My surgery was June 9th. I am down 10 lbs but still very bloated and tired. I take a nap every day and get 10 hours of sleep each night. I have been able to keep everything down. I have been eating puree soup and doing well with it. I also have been able to get my water in easily. Protein shakes are a different story. I'm only drinking 1-2 per day.

So many things I didn't consider but what if I have a leak or need something repaired as far as my surgery goes? I have insurance but it doesn't cover a plastic surgeon.

So, I would have to go back to Mexico to get it repaired? It's my understanding that a leak can happen at any point.

Lower stomach bloating? How about all over bloating?? My stomach looks like I'm pregnant and my legs are even swollen and I've lost 6 lbs but still can't fit any before clothes. Can't wait for the bloating to go down.
