So I had RNY on Monday June 30th. Came home yesterday the 2nd around 11 am. Overall I feel really really good. My surgery day weight was 228 and my HW was 242 the doctor was so impressed with how much I lost but did joke and day "you didn't leave me with much room to work in there!" A couple of times I have felt light headed and I actually haven't had a BM since Saturday so I just took milk of magnesia to hopefully get that process going. Anyone else have the same post op issue with BM's? -

Well here I am at 3:12 am. I can't sleep for anything!! Have to be at the hospital at 7:50 surgery is scheduled for 11:50. Made it through my 3 day preop liquid diet with ease now I'm just waiting to be on the losers bench! -
I figured as much! I'm chewing the life out of sugar free gum and I am going to make ice cubes out of juice to get flavor and the crunch..

Today I started day 1 of 3 on Clear Liquids before surgery Monday... It's 1:40 p.m. and I want to gnaw my arm off! I am SO hungry...but I can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you all believe I started this thread on March 26th...and here we all are, sharing our stories, getting to "know" each other...on this journey together! It's so amazing.... If anyone would like to share phone numbers to text message each other, I am game for this..Sometimes we are not always able to check this/keep up with it and honestly I know I need all the support I can get!
