  1. Yes sorry, calories but no carbohydrates!
  2. No taste. One scoop contains 12% of daily intake (1 scoop is 1 and a half tablespoons). Last night I made a banana and cinnamon smoothie (from my weight loss for bariatrics bible!) and 1 cup contained 18.5 grams of Protein. I think Nestle is an American brand? So it should be available from the states.
  3. On my discharge information form it said to make sure you pass urine at least 4 times in 24 hours. Definitely agree with CrazyJany, you can end up with Acute Renal Failure if you don't have enough fluids passing through. You will need to keep sip sip sipping away. I get that it is hard - it takes me a few hours to get down my Breakfast and it is frustrating, but just keep working at it.
  4. I'm located in Western Australia - I purchased it from a place called Surgical House which stocks all hospital items.
  5. Yup, can definitely see the difference. Congratulations, you look great. Keep up the good journey.
  6. Hi Amanda, congratulations on your surgery. I am day 5 out and I have found it takes me about 1 - 2 hours to get a 'meal' in so sip sip sip! I put my drink in a flask and just sip away at it; normally by mid morning I'll have managed to drink my breakfast! I use beneprotein powder in all of my smoothies too which is quite high in Protein but has no calories or fat whatsoever. Good luck; sip sip sip!

    Perth Sleevers?

Hi, I'm here! Congratulations on your decision to have surgery. I'm day 5 post op of sleeve gastrectomy. It's so hard to get down food - takes me a few hours, I found the most helpful book Your Complete Guide to Nutrition for Weight Loss Surgery - it has all the stages of the gastric sleeve diet including the pre op diet. Does anyone know if there is a Perth support group that meets up?
