in my opinion you should see a different heart doctor because it sounds like he is just against weight loss surgery. that stuff about chronic diarrhea, vitamin deficiency can all be prevented if you follow what your surgeon and doctors tell you you will be fine. i had my surgery july 8th and i would never go back and change my decision it has been the best thing to happen for me.

the 2 weeks liquid diet is mainly to shrink your liver so it is easier to move around inside. i wish u the best of luck. -
my doctor told me wait at least 12 months before even trying to get pregnant.

i had my surgery 7-8-14 i always had bad stomach issues all my life from every morning i would wake up with stomach to after i eat i would run to the bathroom. i was told i had IBS and since my surgery i haven't had any stomach issues. so i think the surgery has helped.

i have tried the french vanilla, chocolate and the strawberry. out of the 3 i liked the chocolate and strawberry. i start my 3 week pre-op diet monday. Best of luck with your surgery. -
