Hello fellow Indiana Bandsters I've been on LBT for a while but just found this thread and wanted to say, I'm in Monrovia IN and was banded at St Vincent Carmel by Dr. Cristine Gupta and had first fill on 9/27/08 next fill around thanksgiving. Things are going ok, I thought I would eat alot less than i can, but I am loseing weight. And I am learning to use this tool inside of me.:biggrin:

Yes my surgeon considered these full liquids "cottage cheese and yogurt" plus and whole lot more like oatmeal. I know they are all different. Remember when I was freaking out because I didn't have to go on a "liquid" pre-op diet? and it seems like everybody else on here did.

Yes thats what I do. I bought a really cute soft sided cooler from Target "with poka dots" and take Jello, Yogert, Cottage cheese, and A protein shake so I'm not stuck in a situation were I need to go in that fast food lane. I put everything in little tupperware containers already measured out and take plastic spoons.

apparently I can have the fattyest liver in town and it won't matter because I don't have a pre-op diet but if I did I would choose a protein powder with no artifical sweetners which you can find at the health food stores. because even though I'm fat I still care about what goes in my fat body

No I don't have any reason to doubt her but everybody on here has to do it. I'am just scared and looking to see if I should do the liquid diet on my own. Like if I get someone whos going to say I know somebody who didn't do the pre op diet and they DIED!! LOL
