hi... now u have me thinking..... my last fill was oct 8th... i NEVER had a problem swallowing food... all of a sudden for the last 4 weeks, almost everything i eat gets stuck and im throwing up like crazy!!!!! i think how can that be when my band is not even tight???????

Hi i am Chiqui.... I got banded nov 1, 2008.... its now a year and a half later and i have only lost 30 lbs... the reason??? well i have come to learn that i go against my lap band and i dont know why... it makes me very sad.:biggrin:.. for instance... when i eat, after just a few bites i do get full and even if i have food still in my mouth, instead of spitting it out i will chew it until i can swallow it.... and i will eat everything eventhough i am stuffed... i dont know how to stop even when i am full!!!! I have fought my insurance company to get this surgery, and now i am working against it!!!! i feel i need some help!!!! any ideas???

omg!!!!! sweetie... when u do lose the weight..... Get rid of HIM!!!!! Let him eat his lil heart out when he sees the new you.... I have gained sooo much weight since meeting my husband and he tells me all the time... dont do it for me... i love u the way you are..... do it for your health.... You deserve sooo much better than that!!!! How can u feel happy at all when the one person that is supposed to love you unconditionally tells you he would have never gon out with you if he met you the way you are now!!!! I tell you.... men are from mars... women are from venus!!!! Its sooo true.... .... I wish u luck sweetie... I think you should not only lose the weight but LOSE HIM!!!!!! i have 2.2 cc's in a 4cc band... i feel restricted but i get hungry not too long after!!!! For instance this morning i had 1 scrambles egg i wasd DONE!!!! about a 1/2 hour later my stomach was growling....im going back on the 8th sooo maybe i need more??? im confused... i have my 1st lapband support group to go to tonight... maybe ill get some answers....

hi.. i share that with you... i had my surgery almost a year and all i lost was 16 pounds!!!!!! i dont feel that restricted.... i feel your sadness... i think often about the bypass also....kepp your head up

omg!!!! thats is phenomenal!!!!!! congrats to you... my story isnt quite as successful as yours... i had my surgery almost 1 year ago... my doctor insists on giving me the smalled amount of cc's in my band which does nothing so after 4 months of going for fills... i just didnt go anymore... i know i know its my fault.. i just got soooo discouraged because i was hoping to lose so much and i didnt so i fell into a rut and just today after reading your success... i called my doctor and i am going to continue.... thank u... tell me... how many cc's do u have in you right now...... chiqui

hi my name is june..... i just went in for a fill last wednesday and the doctor stuck me 5 times to get access to my port soooo he feels mine tilted also.....i need to go get an xray to see where it is..... very disappointed with the whole thing... i had the surgery done 7 months ago and i only have 2 cc's it dont restrict me at all and he wants to go gradual.... how gradual can u go????? i am at risk for diabetes and i need to lose weight!!!!! my friend has 6cc's in her band and she lost 70 pounds already and had it done the same time i did... i think i need to change doctors

Walk away the pounds!!!!! Once u learn the basic 4 steps.. u dont even need the dvd anymore.... Now i watch my favorite program and WALK!!!!!! i think of how many hrs i sit and watch tv when i couldve been burning calories while watching the tube!!!! also when i make coffee.. i stand at the counter and do leg lifts while its perculating and by the time the coffee is done, i just done leg excersises and burned calories!!!!!!

oh i forgot to ask.. i downloaded my weightloss ticker where do i paste it to????????? please help me!!!!!!
