I need to lose 60 more and im praying I can get it done by October my birthday lol.....that's for the motivation!!! keep up the good work.... im hoping that my next fill will set it off for me...I hope she gives me 3cc's so I can be at the 9cc mark...how long did it take u to get to green

hey guys i got my surgery march 26th...so i am a month and 3 days out, i started at 245 i am now around 228... i havent seen the scale budge since ive been able to eat solid foods....i had my first fill april 22....3cc's i dont feel much of a difference....when does the weight start coming off I'm starting to feel a little discouraged

i got 3 cc in my band today didnt hurt at all but im hoping to shed some pounds now bc i gained 2 since being able to eat n i just want the weight to come off its been such a struggle im ready to start shedding im hoping to find a common medium soon with the fills so i dont have to keep going back.....when do you start losing the weight?

@@delove32 I'm down 10 lb since march 26 surgery ...17 lb in total since march 5th consult!!! First fill April 22 lol good luck !!!

im down to 234 from 245 march 5th....got banded march 26...im loving the scale but i need to stopppp weighing myself lol anybody else experiencing obsession with scale...

I got surgery 3/26 I've lost 7lb feeling great about it! Port site still hurting tho blah

well im 3 days post op i weighed myself today im at 236, march 5th i was at 245 & i had my surgery march 26th....so im down 9 lbs, slow and steady wins the race.....im on liquids until tuesday and im starving!!!! ughh but im trying hard to remain focused lol I'm so ready for the weight to come off....really trying to be comfortable in my skin this summer and just over all get healthy...my goal is to be 50 lbs down by june, not sure how thats gonna work out but im gonna try my hardest! hope everyone is doing well!

Good luck tomorrow you'll do great! Personally I have to cook for hubby and kids so I'm hungry lol but I just been sippin water pops jello cranberry....tryna fill up on fluids it's a mental thing cus the discomfort makes u not wanna eat anyway

@@delove32 I got my band yesterday my main complaint is the soreness and maybe the gas but I've been walking it out !

they had me drink 4 oz of Water every hour it wasnt to bad but a lil discomfort at first....and they gave me cranberry juice with a straw i jus opted not to drink with it!

oh yeah and scale at hospital said 237..digital scale at home says 242..dont know which to believe LOL! ill take the 237!!!!

well i was banded today i am officially on the other side i went in at 930 surgery at 11....i got discharged at 7...i was walking around right after anesthesia wore off...i was totally scared while in the operating room it just looks scary lol and it was freezing thank god for the warm blankets ...but the outcome was great...i agree port site is the sorest...i didnt lose weight post op bc i wasnt required to do a diet.....im on liquids for a week then mushies then soft foods then regular foods i have an appt on tuesday and first fill in 4 weeks.....i feel pretty good having gas pains but thankfully not to bad i jus try my best to belch it out or tap my chest....my journey begins today and im excited.....looknig forward to back to the gym! congrats everybody!

hey guys im new here....ive been overweight mostly all of my life....ive lost weight and put it right back on im 25 yrs old and my current weight is 245 which is the highest ive ever been..... i have two children (boys) ages 6 and 2 months and lost a child December 2012 at 32 weeks of pregnancy..im an emotional eater....So you can imagine ive been packing on the pounds....i tried to get the band in 2010 but my surgery required 6 months of supervised nutrition n weight lost so i quit.....few years later i have a different insurance and went to a seminar late february, had a consult march 5th n was advised the sleeve was a better option....the sleeve was ruled out because my insurance requires inpatient surgery to be done at a center of excellence for bariatric surgery which my surgeon does not participate in....im able to get the band by my surgeon so i have chosen to go with that because id hate to go through a waiting process when ive already been given a surgery date! so here i am on my way..... im very nervous as ive heard alot of different reviews on the band but everybody must have their own experience....my surgeon does not require a pre-op diet but ive been trying one anyway just to try n get in the groove of things n maybe shed a few pounds before surgery.......Wish me luck and please any advice on the band is welcome.....ive heard some pretty bad things like slow weightloss...or no weightloss or bands getting stuck etc.....please feel free to share your storyy....6 more days!
