I am about a month away from having lap band surgery and to be honest I am scared of the unknown I guess. I have always batted with my weight, and at the age of 33 (34 in June) I am finally taking that step to change my lifestyle. I have only lost a significant amount of weight one time in my life. I would say I am my own worse enemy. Hopefully, this site and hearing other people's stories can help in my journey. Especially in the next couple of weeks leading up to my surgery and definitely afterwards.
