@@Chanlissa lol luv it he was wonderful dr sadek I loved him!! These liquid vitamins suck every morning it hard to get down but I am trying. Haven't tried chewable but after this pack I might to see if it cheaper too. How are you doing since surgery? I had a hard time with nausea with his vitamins before the surgery... i would have to drink them with a LOT of water, and now that's not an option, and I haven't be able to get them down at all. One sip and I gag, so I had to give up (shhh don't tell him lol). I do really like Dr. Sadek and all of the people he works with have been SUPER nice and helpful. I'm doing really well since the surgery, Other than with the vitamins I haven't really have any nausea, no vomiting at all... every now and then I'll test the waters with something I know I have no business having, but I seem to have been able to tolerate everything. How about you?

How long does it take you guys to eat a "meal". For instance, I'll have a protein drink for breakfast... usually do about 6 oz of milk... and it takes me about an hour to finish. I'm on mushy food now, and it usually takes me about a half hour to an hour to get down 4 to 6 oz of food.

Hi Jerseygrl. You and I have the same doctor and the same vitamins, and I can't take them either. I get near them and I'm ready to vomit, so I've given up. I tried the Opurity chewable vitamins and those gave me a stomach ache for a half hour too. I've given up on bariatric vitamins until I'm able to get things down more easily. I've gone to a womans daily gummy vitamin and am taking a biotin pill.

I'm a chew and spitter lol. My family brought home fried chicken for dinner and that's my weakness ... I'm on the tail end of full liquids (surgery was 3/21), and couldn't resist... So I chew a couple of bites (careful to no even swallow the juices) and then spit it out, and it really fixes the craving as GROSS of a habit it is.

I'm definitely going back on biotin! I stopped taking it because the vitamins my doctor gave me had about 5000 mcg. But I HATE the vitamins... They make me feel ill, and I haven't been able to get them down at all since the surgery.

I thought about going to wigs for a while so I can get to my hair and keep an eye on it. I may consider this. Thanks!

I used primarily almond milk before my surgery. I had my surgery 3/21 and started the full liquids diet Friday, and am using almond milk for my shakes again with no problem. Good luck!

Hello all! I am new to this site, and glad I came across this thread! I just had my surgery 3/21/14. I heard these first few weeks would be hard, and so far, yes it sucks, but it's manageable. Plus, I keep thinking of the bigger picture, and know it's worth it. I am a weave wearer and wonder if the hair loss has caused any difference for those who wear weaves. From what I read, if I keep my protein up I should be fine, but I'm just curious on the weave front if anyone had noticed a difference. -Chanlissa
