    Say (Low Fat) Cheese

I can't stand the smell of cheese now. But like une nouvelle stated that processed items shouldn't even be a thought in our minds.

    Fibromyalgia and the sleeve.....

I have fibromyalgia and epilepsy. I was sleeved June 23rd and I have really bad problems sleeping since my fibromyalgia seems to be none stop. The pain has gotten better so I am more able to walk without my wheelchair or cane for about an hour. The real pain is when I vomit. Taking pain meds is really hard on my stomach and when I get sick it hurts for at least two hours. I am experiencing this as I type. This is only the third time that this has happened. It helps if I eat toast or a crack and sip a bit of water to take meds. But if I wait more than 15 minutes then it comes up. For sleeping I used a body pillow and it helped a bit but was fine laying in any position a little more than a month out. But overall the sleeping did get slightly better considering fibromyalgia isn't trying to let you sleep. Lol

LIzbiz yes I am I wish I had done it sooner but I guess this is my time and I am going to live life to the fullest and enjoy all the things that I could not do when I was obese. I am meeting new friends at my gym and work out 5 days a week for at least 1 hour. I am learning to enjoy life again and there are more things to life then being around haters and non supportive people. Keep us posted on your progress.

Lizbiz no problem we are all here for the same reason a second chance at life to be healthy and I know we all get there with time and dedication. It just amazes me that people get jealous when you are getting healthy instead of supporting / joining you. But it is there lost and as I said I am meeting no friends everyday here and in the gym who are very supportive .

  4. Just started having small issues a few days ago. Incision pain and had to switch up my Protein supplements. But I get so full hard for me to get in all my liquids and protein. But so happy to have my sleeve. I am reminded by my husband and daughter to take it easy. I haven't felt this good in so long and over do it. My surgeon said that is why my incision is bothering me more than it should. HW 315 SW 289 6/23 CW 272

    June 23

I had my sleeve on the 23rd as well. I hope you all are feeling better. Can't wait to check in again. So this has been an surreal experience to me. The last three or four years have been very rough but the day I decided to get surgery I can't believe my life was the way it was. Finally walking around without a cane or using a wheelchair. My husband cried yesterday because it was the first time we were able to take a walk alone together in since mid 2011. Again I hope all you 23's are well.
