I'm doing pretty well. Getting my fluids in has been ok as long as I constantly remember to drink. I'm having a hard time getting all that protein in. It's a lot! I've been eating geek yogurt in the morning, protein shake in the afternoon and soup at night and water throughout the day. Just dealing with all this gas is crazy. Feel like a burping machine lol.

It's going really well!! Love dr. Le. I couldn't believe how easy it was to be honest. After surgery, I was hot and nauxious. Once that went away, I was great. Been walking and can't wait to eat a little something so I can get some energy. -

I have been on a pre-op diet for 3 weeks. Tomorrow I start all clear liquids because it's the day before surgery. I lost 20 pounds on the preop diet and it was pretty easy. . Surgeon wanted to see weight loss before surgery to know you were taking it seriously. That's interesting that you didn't Have to do a preop diet though. Kaiser seemed to be really strict about it.

Hey everyone! My surgery is scheduled for April 9. This journey has been really fast for me (2 months total from when I asked for the referral from my regular doctor). Getting nervous now...just ready for it to be done. Having my surgery at south San Francisco kaiser.
