Have to be at the hospital at 5:30 surgery is at 7:30am. I'm glad to be the first one for surgery this way My surgeon will be bright eyed and bushy tailed LOL Casey999 best wishes for your surgery also and Good luck to all the people who will have surgery tomorrow.

Welcome SandraB! I'm so excited that it's hard for me to concentrate on anything else. I have been cleaning my whole house this week to keep busy. -
Thank you Jomamacita. I am using a sippy cup and it works great. I also put my shakes in the sippy cup I just made the holes a little bigger for the shake to go through.

Jomamacita I am doing the same thing buying all that I need for after surgery. I think about having this surgery 24/7 I'm on the pre-op surgery diet and having a hard time stretching out my meal for 30 mins. I'm having a hard eating slow. I'm freaking thinking I'm a failure already.

My two week diet is proteins shakes I can eat veggies, scrambled eggs, pork loin. It has to be a lot of protein. After surgery I start the liquid diet.

I bought my scale at Amazon it was $36.00 for $15.00 it's great! I also bought 3 and 4oz ceramic bowls and containers too. -
I'm having some difficulty sipping my shakes not as much with the water. Is there anything I can do to help me sip my protein shakes? I'm on my 2nd day of the diet.
