Hi all.day 6 post op..rny...im still pumped up like a micheline tire man...my calves swollen galore...i think im trying to dehydrate myself at this point...ive walked alot...too much?? My stomach lower abs have stretch marks and they are puffy and uuuugly!! Flying home in 5.5 hrs...surgery last wed so i stayed extra days in San Diego to recover glad i did...but need longer.yes ive had to continue with compresson stockins and esp for the flight....like when will this saline and gas go away???

Wow you look great btw...oh my gosh i bet there are many people who feel that way ...and probably me ...i am leaving in 6.5 hrs surgery on Wed...im 260 lbs ... its a huge change although 60 lbs has been gained over 5..7 yrs...so although ive been overweight all my life i was able to stabilize at varios weights for yrs..from 160 ..then 170...190...210 and boom 260...no stability so im hoping i dont run into your situation...but wow...who would ..could i be at 145lbs?? Thats pretty close to half of me...am i prepared for it?? Oh sports and activity wise i am...cannot wait to go golfing...and ziplining..maybe try watersking again...lol...well even regular winter skiing... have you always been heavy ..that is maintaing that weight for say 20 yrs?this could be why. You might find the losing friends chat forum of high interest as this could be one of the issues...changes in all your relationships...esp yourself...maybe see a counsellor and dig out why you feel "guilt". Try ti stay focused on the positives youve gained...no more sleep apnea...no more heart medicatiins...no more diabetes...or GERD... Reaching out is a great start...good for you...stay strong! I have been wondering too...but hey Ive never been a bride or a bridesmaid so its ...esp after losing alot of weight...its going to be a big boost ...and hot damn shell look great in that dress! Also remember everyone her FRIEND did ask her when she was at a heavier weight...soo weight issues are not a factor for her to be included as a bridesmaid...

Hi all....less than 14 hrs i will be flying from AB Canada to Mexico. RNY surgery on Wed...so excited!! Am staying a few extra days after surgery before coming home..mi hope its enough time....did any one get narcotics after the surgery? Should i bring my own?

Wow..Hi everybody...im from Northern AB Canada and heading to Mexico tomorrow. Just found this app... maybe a week ago. Im haing rny performed ..tg my gallbladder already removed yrs ago. Im really excited and nervous... i have only told a handful of people. I am also going alone...spouse working a shutdown. I am staying a few days beyond regular time ...for obvious reasons. Gonna hate traveling and not being able to eat...lol...isnt that one of the best part of travelling?? Haha. Glad to see everyones recovery is going ok...and sorry to hear about the one or two who havent lost any or a significant amount yet...is there a reason given for this??

Ty! 24 hrs and im on a plane! Wed surgery...yes im wondering how to ensure hydration...sure would be easier with a drip!! Lol...Gurgling sounds...like now?? Damn im hungry!! But i can get through this!! Usually im great at not eating!! Which is a bad thing of course! Are u vomiting? You must be eating...well drinking sips all the time...or so it seems to keep hydrated?

Good luck you all... i am traveling tues...in 24 hrs actually...lol...surgery on Wednesday the 26th of march.. Very excited ..but eek how can i travel without buying food?? Haha. Im suffering from lack of sugar..coffee/caffeine and carbs!! Almost fully packed..

Good job... i knowledgly understand how hard it was for you to quit....so you had your surgery or having on the same day as me??? Im traveling tuesday..now how does one get through traveling without food??? Eek. 34 hrs til on the plan i can do this!! Good luck with your surgery...where are you having yours??

Re WW ya took me 9 months...a school yr to lose 30lbs...ugh...that was many yrs ago...lol Great job on the treadmill btw...soon youll be able to get outside and enjoy the parks!! ...eek is it time to start counting down the hours??

Does anyone know if Cranberry juice mixed with All Greens berry mix is acceptable?? Is apple juice ok? I assume all teas are ok?? Op on Wed... flying out tuesday

So happy for you ladies..i hope you are doing well...I gear the first month is hell...as for follow ups...local doctors. Lol. There really is no follow up unless you want tummy tuck or other skin lift in a few yrs.

Wow...well had i looked harder...i probably could have waited...but 5 yrs in BC is ridiculous and that dr has people from all accross Canada too...making it sound..seem like there was only his business in Western Canada.. Did not want to get the run around here in AB...and $6500 USD is far better than the $18k ive seen. Yes Im in Northern AB ....how else could i afford this...lol TY Getting anxious ..leave tuesday!!
