You look great!! What does your exercise routine consist of?! -
Hi everyone so today is marking my 2 week PREOP mark and I'm trying today to preassemble some puréed foods for after when I'm at the puréed stage. So today I used my vitamix and made puréed butternut squash Soup with SF maple syrup, cinnamon and unsweetened vanilla almond milk. I also made up some puréed cauliflower with rf parm cheese and laughing cow Swiss cheese wedges. Anyone have some great recipes they really like?! I don't know how I'm going to feel about puréed meats when the time comes but then again I may not care for the stuff I'm making now either- but just trying to get a heads start! Let me know thoughts!!

Sugar Free Torani Syrup
mrslosing2014 replied to shmily's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Some other great SF syrups are Jordan's skinny gourmet syrups! Multiple flavors ( even some cocktail mixers - you could add to vanilla protein powder to still feel like you're having cocktails with the girls and getting your protein in! DOUBLE WIN!!) that are great and the best part is you can find them the most at places such as Ross, Marshall's, Tj Maxx and homegoods!! All for about $3.99 each they have other SF brands too. Jordan's can also be ordered online but much cheaper at the stores listed! -
I take a general biotin of 500icu twi capsules a day in the morning when I take my other vitamins. I am 2 weeks preop today and the nutritionist says to continue that after but you gotta get the protein in the help it grow!!

mrslosing2014 replied to KristinaRnY's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My date is April 10! This Thursday I am to start my 2 preop diet of 1000 calories.. Already started this week to prep. I think my next week (last week) pre surgery I'm going to try the liquid diet to get used to only liquids as will need to too afterwards... What are some good things everyone is trying for their liquid diets -pre and post op?! -
Approved on my Birthday! Surgery on the 14th
mrslosing2014 replied to Curvy_Goddess's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Best birthday present for sure!! I just got my call yesterday- nutrition class today and surgery the 10th of April! Soo excited for this new chapter! Best of luck! -
I've had mine for a few years now and I love it! I get into phases with it where I'll use it for a while and then out it away for a bit and bring it back out when I get creative. It's a great alternative for me since I love baking and it lets me feel like I am doing creating in another way! I get easily bored so Pinterest and vitamix.com is a great source for new vitamix recipes!!

I have a vitamix and love love love it!! A recipe I just made yesterday was orange creme total lean 25 protein powder with Greek vanilla yogurt and a splash of light vanilla almond milk and put into popcicle makers for a delish protein pack treat!

April 7th surgery date?
mrslosing2014 replied to DIMPLESONBLAST's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Finally I got the call today that my papers are going in for submission and my tentative surgery date for sleeve is April 10th! I can't wait this has been such a long time coming! As soon as I found out it was like hitting a block- omg this is really happening.. And I can't wait! Best part is my husband is a teacher and his spring break just happens to be the week after my surgery so I will have a loving man to take the best care of me! -
I totally agree with you! I am 27 and I don't want to spend the rest of my life, I spent the past years-- on a yoyo diet. Not what I call an enjoyable life! Looking forward to new experiences that I won't have to worry about if I will "fit" on the chairs or what will I look like!

Best of luck everyone! -
Such a great job @@wwled! Awesome! I'm panicking waiting to hear back if I've been approved today makes 2 weeks that I haven't heard back from my doctor- am calling to see where I stand hoping my sleeve surgery will take place April sometime - started the progress in September (feels like 4ever ago!) I've always been happy in my skin as the big girl of the group but have longed to go "off the rack" shopping with my size 4 girlfriends! Now I know I won't be that small but I'm so excited for this next chapter in my life and hitting the racks! ???????????? Keep up the great work! ???? Instagram - m86m05

How long has everyone waited to hear back from insurance for approval? Monday (tomorrow) will be 2 weeks since my last 6 month appt. and haven't heard a word. Making me nervous and anxious. I have BCBS thru SC.
